Aslong as we don't lose it's enough momentum to take into the next two games with Bale and hopefully BAE back.

Adebayor has been piss poor in this 1st half ..

What pisses me off with him is that he doesnt really show enough passion when he plays .. His touches have been really bad.

Sluggish performance so far which is disappointing.

Glad I'm listening to this and playing Guild Wars 2.

Something to help take the edge off the game.

The crowed are doing a good job on the ref. You can see him giving a soft penalty or booking as the game goes on. We need to create this sort of atmosphere at WHL more often.

Everton are a top side and it's difficult without Bale, we just need to be patient. This could be one of those games where we only get 1 chance and take it. The way Defoe is playing recently if anything falls to him it's in the back of the net.

Lee Mason just does not have a clue! I mean how is it that you Brits invented the game, yet you have some of the worst refs around. At least he didn't give those penalties (and rightly so, both were on the shoulder).

Adebayor just proved today why he hasn't been playing. Everyone is putting in a terrific shift today EXCEPT HIM. He slows everything down, can't control the ball and does no link up play, getting back way too deep. I think we need Siggy on for Dempsey. He hasn't done much wrong but just isn't effective today. This has 1-0 either way written all over it. Not much between the team ATM

Seeing Defoe and Dempsey come back and play defense is very inspiring, and Adebayor is less than anything. Ade needs to fix his first touch this second half. He has lost possession 4 times or so, it's really hurting us.

Not bad half for us really.

Start off strongly in the first ten mins of 2nd half and the natives will begin to get restless. This is their full strength team, playing at its optimum. A top 5 toughest fixture in the PL

I'm relatively happy, we are working hard and defending strongly

Backs to the wall stuff.
An obvious problem area - Our left hand side. (oooh for Danny Rose!)
Plus no outlet whatsoever - so we're stuck in our own final third.
Can't fault our work ethic - both Defoe + Clint chasing back with desire (both on that problematic left hand side - where Coleman is running riot).
Lloris...the quickest man off his line ever, in the history of football, ever.
Two penalty shouts for them...shut up toffees - learn the rules.
Fellani - a real handful.
We need to change tactics - we need an outlet or two - but playing Ade and Defoe upfront isn't making that happen.

Tough tough game - but I'd like to see AVB identify our weaknesses and change something- if we continue like this we will concede.
