What a kick in the teeth. That would have been a huge 3pts for us. When will we ever learn to hold on to a lead? Giving the ball away constantly doesn;t help.

AVB makes defensive changes to help protect a weak back four. It's understandable. But by removing forward players we can;t keep the ball and have no attack. He is caught between a rock and a hard place. Too many late goals. Maybe it's time some of the players took the blame. Look at Utd today - in the second half the game was out of Fergie's hands. There was nothing he could do to change the pattern of the game.

Let's be honest that scoreline was about fair.

But its' the manner it happened.

3-4 mins from a good hard fought victory to losing it.

AVB needs to install a winning mentality in these lads; they look scared shitless when we go up in a game.

Only positive is another decent performance from Deuce.

Aside from that Jesus we need to invest in this squad.

I don't think we looked scared - people were saying how well we were playing after we scored - we were probably the better team at that point.

It was just a few bits of bad defending. Caulker's not been communicating well. We were light on the left side, Coleman (?) had too much time and space. Then for the last goal, they just didn't try to deal with it, I don't know why you should stand and appeal for offside at a moment like that.

If we had Kaboul and BAE, I can't imagine they would have scored those goals.

Big big shame, the 3 points would have been huge. Plenty of top teams will fuck up at Goodison though. We just have to move on, it's a fucking tough league.

Obviously when you concede two late goals and lose the match it's hard to draw any positives. But I thought the players did well and showed determination and fight throughout the match. We also need to remember that Everton are a well organised quality team, which haven't lost at home since march. So really we shouldn't be to annoyed with the result. Our next few games are winnable, so I believe we can bounce straight back to winning ways. Heads up COYS!

Well only Spurs can totally screw up a game like this ... ah well, at least we got our old Spurs back.
It's not about getting our old Spurs back. It's about getting rid of the fucks, once and for all. Even since '04/'05 the useless turds linger around from time to time. The only difference is we have some talented players these days.

The fucking attitude and lack of attention to detail - ARRRGHHH. My sanity...the thiinest of threads.

Hey ho. Still in 4th. Massive kick up the backside neede again obviously. Talented but "fick" players we seemingly have.

u cant instill mentality in anyone.. u either have it or u dont.. every manger we have had talks about this winning mentality and its laughable... they fight for nothing and its a pure joke.. ill keep saying it.. there is a cancer right in the heart of that club for donkey years and its still the same .

THERE IS SIMPLY NO LEADERSHIP QUALITIES AND MEN APART FROM SANDRO IN THAT SPURS SQUAD. LOSERS THE LOT OF THEM

It's embarrassing how mentally weak the club is. Not just the side, it's from top to bottom. I can't remember the last time we won a game late yet we drop points every other week due to late goals it seems!

Ah well, not like it's anything new is it!!!!

Yep. Our lack of late goals scored (ok, got a late-ish one today but I mean after 80 minutes) is every bit as troubling to me as our knack of conceding them. It is extremely worrying.

Caulker again clears a ball (poorly) that he should have left for Lloris, something has to be done about the communication there.

Its not a communication problem, for whatever reason he isn't listening.

I'm watching via a satellite signal and I could hear Lloris loud and clear.

Maybe he's panicking.

When redknapp was coach he said: We can be winners of the hole PL. When villas boas comes out against Everton he says its one of the hardest games!. I am just saying that redknapp never feard any opponent. Thats the diffenece the belife in winning.

Well I thought that we defended really well up until the last 5 mins. Why can't we see games out? Its not as if this is a one off either. We have conceded loads in the last ten minutes.

Hopefully this won't affect our confidence too much, more than anything I hope it makes AVB address the problem of defending leads when we just can not do it. A draw would have been a fair result but a loss is just bollocks, especially the way it happened.

I am fuming with the way we conceded the goals. Caulker... Well... What the fuck was he thinking? As for the second goal, why was the ball not attacked when it was crossed in rather than waiting for it to land? Gallas done a good ob of ball watching there.

Perhaps he needs a hearing aid.

I thought listening was part of communication?!?

That's twice there has been a distinct call from the keeper and he has failed to let the ball run resulting in goals

I think you're probably right, its panicking resulting in neither leaving the ball or really clearing properly. Like he's committed to the clearance but half backs out due to the call and doesn't think quickly enough

Its something that needs to be worked on between the two, and I'd suggest its something where the keepers call needs to be given priority
