Great finish to the match. 21 players in the penalty box. One extra fixture for Everton is great news.

That was a bloody great cup tie. Perfect outcome, too.

Wasn't it? I can't stop smiling.

And the Oldham fans were magnificent - just didn't stop singing.(y)

Right, come on Brentford tomorrow...:sneaky:

ETA: Matt Smith sounds so well-spoken!

On Arsenal fans booing, Arsene Wenger added: "What do you expect, people to applaud when you lose a game like that? It's absolutely normal."

I thought he came across well in his interview. He must be a clever lad - graduated from Manchester University. I've never heard a footballer use the term "impetus" either!

I told 'em Oldham! I really enjoyed watching that game. It reminded me of the way football was years ago.

More pressure on Wenger/Goons. Everton now facing an extra game, a tough replay against Oldham.

What could possibly go wrong?

Just read that if Arsenal don't win the CL this season it will be their longest trophy-less run since 1938.

Very articulate and level headed guy.

Just read that if Arsenal don't win the CL this season it will be their longest trophy-less run since 1938.

Other notable gaps include 1953 - 1971 - unless they include the Inter Cities Fairs Cup 1969
&
1979 -1987

Not too much talk about their "gap years" for such a successful side.

It shows the sad state of CL dominated football that going out of the FA cup is probably a good thing if you're going for a CL place.
Still funny though.

Love reveling in Arsenal's misery but we should hold back on laughing too hard about the trophy drought. We call ourselves a big club but haven't won the league in over 50 years. That's embarrassing.
