Might have to meet up for that beer then mate, as long as you don't mind a 6 year old in tow?
Is Yankspurs visiting?

...and it's this shit that is stopping me from making my nominations for the SC Awards Thread. I still need convincing for the "funniest poster" nomination. Is Yankspurs visiting?
Changed to Monday 5 Jan 7.45-but NOT on the telly.I'm sure when I was looking this morning, the game was scheduled for Saturday. Now it appears to have moved to Monday night! For TV I'm guessing...or because Burnley is sooooo far away...one of the two!

It's a joke. I was going to take my boy to his first game, but I can't at that time of night :-(Are you f**king kidding me! What a pathetic bunch of tossers the people who arrange these fixtures are. It will be 99.9% of peoples first day back at work. How are they supposed to get the day off to travel up to Burnley after probably having had the previous 2 weeks ago! What was the reasoning behind this!?!
Anyway - I work for myself so I shouldn't really care. I'll be going!!
BURNLEY away for your boys first game You know the aim is to get them to want to go again, don't you??It's a joke. I was going to take my boy to his first game, but I can't at that time of night :-(
We live in Preston and he only turns 6 on 28th December. It would have been perfect for himBURNLEY away for your boys first game You know the aim is to get them to want to go again, don't you??

You see i'm gutted, because it's easy enough for me to get to, it's just down the M65 from me, but it's the time of night. I'm still tempted to go on my own.Fair enough! I'm pretty disappointed too. I think it'll be great once inside the stadium, but it's a real shame as I'm not sure the 4000 allocation will be filled.
Burnley is annoying enough to get to from Manchester (via train), let alone darn sarf.
I am very tempted. We won't be back any where near as late as that as it's only 20 miles down the motorwayGo mate, I took Harrison to his first game last year (Europa League game), we didn't get home until 1am, but he was buzzing for school the following day to tell his mates about going to White Hart Lane!
It did help that we won
He is northernGo mate. Let him taste northern blood!
