Since his first appointment as an official in the Football League in 1994, Foy has refereed a number of notable matches, including the FA Community Shield and the finals of the FA Trophy, Football League Cup and FA Cup. He is a well known Stoke City fan and was influential in their 2 - 1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on 11/12/11 earning him the Man of the Match award. He's known as a disgrace to football after his stupid decisions with the Stoke vs Tottenham game. He has showed in a recent match between Stoke City and Tottenham Hotspur that he doesn't want Tottenham anywhere near the Top 4 clubs by making them lose 2-1 and not giving blatant fouls and handballs against Stoke City.

Chris 'Stokie' Foy is known as a flagrant homosexual and displayed this most notibly by being locked in the home dressing room at the Brittania Stadium with the Stoke City players and Tony 'Sailorboy' Pulis before the match between Tottenham Hotspur and Stoke City on 11/12/11. Upon emerging from the dugout Chris Foy and his assistant referees could be seen wiping their lips and patting each other on the back, smiling gleefully.
In early 2011 Chris Foy was sanctioned by the FA body for not declaring his relationship with Peter Crouch.

If I run into him I'll retire him myself straight away.

Overall standard of refereeing this season is awful. Not just Foy.

Liverpool v Sunderland - Sunderland should have been down to 10 men in 5 mins after defernder (Richardson?) brought down Suarez as he rounded keeper.

Everton v Liverpool - Rodwell sent off for a clean tackle. Worst red card ever imho.

Man U v Newcastle - penalty given against Rio Ferdinand when he clearly won the ball

Newcastle v Chelsea - Luiz not sent off for hauling down Ba when othwrise clean through.

Fulham v Liverpool - Don't know where to start. Almost as bad as Foy today. Pen given as outside the box. Onside goal ruled out for offside. I agree with Spearing's red though.

Spurs v Bolton - Cahill's red.

:shrug: I would be angry if he is censured for that. Red Nose is far more scrurrilous even though the ratio of dodgy decisions in their favour is, like, 1 agaisnt to 99 for.

He hasn't slagged Foy off, just said that there were some bad decisions.

When a ref is having a bad day or is just crap, he will get decisions big and small wrong. But you would expect those decisions to be evenly distributed in favour of both teams in the course of the game (or series of games: Howard Webb in Man U games for example).

But when those shitty decisions always fall against one team, then it's time to ask some questions!

Reading the BBC match report I guess we are blowing things out of proportion. For the first goal they said that ""crouch seemed to handle but stoke deserved a goal" - seemed to handle!??! They say that Ade had a goal incorrectly ruled out but no mention of the hand ball and they say defoe "felt" his shot had been handled. Apart from that it's all brilliant stoke shit!!!!!

This is exactly why the FA need to get a grip on the piss poor standard of officials. It's turning the whole league into a worldwide laughing stock
