We know he’s not the player we need, but you know what - Emerson Royal gives it his fucking all and tries to affect the game.

No one like that deserves the jeers from his own fans that he’s had this year.
The fact people have rated this funny tells you everything you need to know about some of our 'fan base', and I use that term loosely.

Emerson looked really good on the ball in the last 10 minutes. All of a sudden he believed he was a Brazilian footballer.

We are so terrible to watch, don't even have many injuries. Shame that next game is City if we win this, we could use some momentum.

Totally agree. I called out someone in the last game for the lazy comments about Royal. The lad brings real energy to a team that often looks lost

How the fuck is Harry Kane so deadly from anywhere on the pitch in open play, yet absolutely diabolical when the ball is stationary with players at least ten yards away?
Yeah even some league 2 CB clogger would've scored at least one of his 200 FK attempts...yet he's world class in almost every other way.

At this point I almost hope he never scores another FK. It's a funny, absurd quirk to his game - like Messi being a bit shit at pens.

Kane on freekicks in 2023 reminds me of just how terrible our football operations is going, Kane with back to goal and not needing to look where he's placing it reminds me we're winning the cup double this year.

I’m feeling confident now, Can anyone remember what happened the last time we took the lead late in the first half?

Yeah it is a bit weird. Although dead balls are a particular skill, you would have thought he could become at least half decent at them.

PEH been one of our better performers (of a weak bunch), but don't let that get in the way of spamming the thread with "PEH off at the break, Antonio"!

Brilliant from Kane. Has to create and score the chances. It only looked a matter of time until we conceded from a cross and they will bombard the box in the second half again.

Shout out to Royal, who has been one of our best performers in that half. Hojbjerg less so. What has happened to that man?

COYS. Better second half please
