Good reaction from Sigurdsson, looked determined, hard pressing and covered ground, could have shot to impress AVB but very unselfish pass to Defoe, great attitude..

To be honest, I think the pass he made would have impressed AVB more. It was world class play and great vision to pick out the man. If all our players did that, our goal difference would be significantly higher than it is.

Whilst I find Arsenal's current position/plight most amusing, i'm trying hard not to attach too much to it right now because as we found out last year, he who laughs last, laughs longest.

Or...he who laughs first gets fucked over by those jammy ****s from Fulham. Take your pick!

Defoe undroppable, Demspey yet another assist, Gylfi showed that he has soo much to offer, AVB steadied the ship remarkably well. Nothing more to add really. We showed real toughness and grit today and then went into thrid gear and left Fulham wondering waht had hit them. And the gooners 10th - this doesn't get much better. However Swansea will be the toughest game since Arsenal and a draw would be a good result.

Question is how do you drop Defoe in this form for Adebayor?

Possibly a better question is does Defoe deserve to be dropped for Ade?

Brilliant result though and we will have Parker and Ade back next PL game and the rest around new year

The answer is 'No' - Defoe has earned his place and Ade is too good to be on the bench.... I am beginning to think that Ade Bale and Defoe should play in a front three - Lennon could play wide left if Bale is injured and Defoe should try playing wide right. Would be interesting to see if they can interchange and make it work..

Didn't the commentators say we've scored 8 goals in these past 3 games? that's pretty good in itself.

I agree, kinda the route i was going down, its about team work, Dempsey seems to understand this more also, nice ball to Defoe for the 3rd..

I can accept his limitations just as much as I can accept his invaluable goals and hopefully the three points. What I can't accept are embarrassing fans who try and call out and segregate fans after only one half when all they are more concerned about voicing their opinion and their agenda against a player. It's embarrassing but whats even worse is you'll never see it that way. I just hope you don't attend games because i doubt very much you would provide Defoe with much support.

Who says I can't accept his goals? I think he's a decent enough player. I also think it'd be better for the team if we had Ade or a striker in that mould leading our line since we have so many attacking players, our goals can come from anywhere potentially. Now everyone's overlooking the fact that we have one striker who scores when he likes and is anonymous in others.

I'm embarrassing no one. What I can't accept are fans who continue to bang the naive drum. There's one thing being optimistic, there's another being naive and overly sensitive. All over the Internet there seems to be hordes of people who seem to feel any criticism is blasphemous and cannot take it. I'm not going to bother after this because these same people will never see the other side and feel superior by insults.

I'll never see it that way, lol, way to make a sweeping statement from a couple posts. Notice I have not singled you out, just pointed out a type of poster. Learn. Yeah, hope I don't, the only time I've had the opportunity to see Spurs (Against Chelsea in Dec 2010) I was yelling all the way. Can't say much for everyone else in my stand saying Crouch was "a waste of oxygen".

Continue away with your condescension though.

By the way.

The person who brought English football to Sweden, Lars-Gunnar Björklund, was a big Tottenham fan and he died this week. It was after he visited London he watched a Spurs game, fell in love with the team and the game and started working for it to be broadcasted over here. He's an honorary member of THSS (Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Sweden). The entire show today in Sweden has been dedicated to him and getting a win today felt extra good because of that.

RIP Lars-Gunnar

I think it's vital to cement our place in top 4 as much as we can before the transfer window.

It will give us much more leverage with players if we can say look, we're 3rd/4th X amount of points ahead of the rest of the pack and steadily on course for CL.
