Games during Feb/Mar/April - HELP!

I'm trying to get up to the Lane on my annual pilgrimage at some point in these 3 months as a treat for my 30th birthday. I am not a member.

My question is - are there games that will never ever have tickets go on general release (we play Arsenal, for example, on 26th of Feb)? Would it be unrealistic of me to even expect the West Ham game (19th of March) to go on general release?

I will watch whoever to be honest, but I'm overly keen on a 500 mile round trip to watch us get kicked by Stoke!

Any advice would be most appreciated.

I have the same problem and tend to pick the Matches I've got a chance of getting tickets go on general sale and then buy flights and have found that I've never got it wrong. I normally always get 2 together too. Just make sure you log in (or phone if you're not too PC friendly at 8am) as soon as they open for General Sale. I got 2 last season for Wet Spam at home on the Shelf no problems. Season before I got 4 for Blackburn at home up in the 2nd tier.

I'm home in Jan and will be hoping to pick up some tickets for our FA Cup game v Charlton (or Luton) but hoping for the Addicks ;O)

(I too once paid £80+ quid (plus travel) to see us get beaten 2-0 at home to Ipswich....)

The games that MIGHT go on general sale are: WBA, Stoke, Bolton in that order. Can't see the Arsenal game going to general and the WHU game is also pretty unlikely.

My suggestion if you haven't got a membership is to buy one. You might be able to buy a half price one for the 2nd half of the season in the new year. Being a member would virtually guarantee you a ticket to the above three games and you'd probably have a chance at getting a ticket to the Arse game if you were able to access the site or be on the phone at 9:30 on the day the tickets go on sale.

You've also got at least one CL home game and possibly an F.A cup home game in that period too, although the former would be a midweek game. An FA cup game in Feb against a non-premiership team would be likely to go on general.
