If Man U aren't the other club who has bid for him (according to the papers, who lets be frank have sold him a dozen times this window). Could it be Man C?
The Mickey Thomas article on the BBC website is embarrassing
I put the full article in the media watch thread - this is just one quote from it he makes
"The whispers around Old Trafford are that he's Old Trafford-bound," he said.
The BBC shouldn't print shit like this
Heard it too, he also aid that Bale wants to go.
Everyone and their dog knows that Bale would like to play at the top and that IF his valuation is met he will go... he hasn't gone yet and he still might play for spurs this season.Heard it too, he also aid that Bale wants to go.
Hoddle as been saying for weeks now that Bale will stay, and that Real have not got the money.Wow, Glen Hoddle ITK on Talkshite!
In response to us 'spending Bale money already' question he sounded as if he was going to correct the presenter in a 'it's not Bale money' kind of way but stopped himself.
He then said he had a long chat with Daniel and we expect to be doing quite a bit of further business in the window.
Also Daniel said that he expects to really do something in the league if Bale stays but hard to stop him going to Madrid.
Pretty much backed up the ITK on the following:
Have funds outside Bale money
Further significant spending
Bale still might stay
We are 'going for it' as in IT not just scraping a CL place.
Reasons to be cheerful.

Lets hope he knows more than we think.
That might be the case, the point was I was referring to comments on here saying that Manchester United cannot afford Bale and the bid is bogus, I disagree. Whether we choose to sell him to United is another matter entirely, but to say United are broke and can't afford players is seriously wrong. The reality is if Bale is worth 125m to Utd, he is worth 125m to us. I don't think Bale will force a move to United and we shouldn't even think about selling him to them at any price. Whether they can afford him or not should be irrelevant to the discussion.
Bill kenwright has piloted him back to the uk...he's signing for Everton!!
He looks happy to be back! And the bird is fit !!
