Looks to me that the whole Bale to Madrid saga may have been just a PR stunt from Real to appease fans after Barca signed Neymar.

Showing the fans, we tried to buy him for a record fee but his club rejected and despite all our players, ex-players, associates etc tapping him up in the press, he didn't push for a move like Modric did, so our hands are tied.

That's what everything coming out of Marca seems to indicate (Marca being a Real Madrid propaganda news outlet).

Yeah that's an interesting read. My only gripe with it, is that is isn't really saying anything that most of us have been saying on here since it was made common knowledge that our kit was to be released on the 8th. It's really no different at all actually, just an assumption that most of us have had for a couple of weeks or more. Sorry mate, not being dismissive of what you shared, just concerned about our striker issue . Yet it's only bloody July 6th, why am I so bloody down about it?
