Spurs players composite team wins 17-3 (edit, 20-4) in WC qualifying

England 8-0 San Marino (Defoe(2), Walker, Parker)
France 3-1Georgia (Lloris)
Iceland 2-1 Slovenia (Siggy(2))
Belgium 2-0 Macedonia (Verts, Dembele)
Wales 2-1 Scotland (Bale)

If only Spurs could brush aside the San Marinos, Georgias, etc. of the PL. Anyhow let's take it as a sign...

Edit: Forgot

USA 1-0 Costa Rica (Dempsey (1))

and now,

Cameroon 2-1 Togo (BAE)

Those are some pretty special conditions for the USA game. The poor old Costa Ricans had probably never seen such weather in their nice warm home.

Played at "Dick's Sporting Goods Stadium" ?

Fun fact. Costa Rica had more players who play their club football in Scandinavia and the northern US than the US did
