Not this time, King Rat
Forget next summer; this has to be fixed before January. Kane says he staying at Spurs "this summer". He doesn't say anything about where he will be come January. The important thing now is not to think “ok so next summer we may have issues” but to try an fix the issues now. Scouting, searching, doing all we can to find the person who will be replacing him if he goes next summer. We often wait to long and we can’t afford to do that here.
Really. We kept a player that clearly wants off. I’d rather have got the cash and had the rebuild - that we still need.
100%.wow if we manage to keep Kane then that's the best biz we could have done this summer
No big big deals happen in January. I highly doubt he'll leave in the middle of the season.Forget next summer; this has to be fixed before January. Kane says he staying at Spurs "this summer". He doesn't say anything about where he will be come January.
It’s good but the best business we can do this summer is address the weakness in defence and midfield, while securing a back up for Kane that doesn’t involve running Son into the groundwow if we manage to keep Kane then that's the best biz we could have done this summer
Let's be honest, nobody will replace his output like for like. Very few players could do that. Any striker coming in has his boots to fill after he leaves. It's not going to be easy. It'll have to be multiple players to get anywhere near those numbers.100%.
I can't see how we could have come close to replacing his goals/assists.
We may (probably likely) won't make top 4, but at least we have a season to sort out a possible replacement.
However, if we lost him, we would be no chance at top 4 imo.

You really think we (Levy) sell him in Jan???Forget next summer; this has to be fixed before January. Kane says he staying at Spurs "this summer". He doesn't say anything about where he will be come January.
Well the wording of the statement clearly suggest otherwise. If he was staying for the season, he would have said so.No big big deals happen in January. I highly doubt he'll leave in the middle of the season.
Totally agree, but at least this gives us a bit more time.Let's be honest, nobody will replace his output like for like. Very few players could do that. "I don't know much about Daniel Levy but [WILD UNFOUNDED ACCUSATION]"
That statement makes me think that it's already been agreed. You really think we (Levy) sell him in Jan???

Wouldn’t it be ironic if after all that has gone on this summer Harry reluctantly decides to stay and we go on and win a trophy! COYS ?
I am a generational Spurs fan on my Dads side...I had and would have never had a choice. Both my kids ARE Spurs fans.
The price in Jan will be higher, if they cant do 150M now they wont do it in JanThat statement makes me think that it's already been agreed.
