Whenever the camera focuses on Abramovich, he looks gormless.

And I've always thought that just because he stole billions from the Russian people, it doesn't mean he's smart.

I've yet to see any credible rationale for his sacking of two of the greatest contemporary coaches, Mourinho or Ancelotti, and one of the most expensive, AVB, other than player power.

So yes, if Abramovich was making rational decisions, RdM should be installed as Chavski coach immediately.

But who knows what's going on in the mind of Roman?

You show me a thick self made billionaire and I'll show you my 18" cock

The relevant posts:
Good morning, I have some news regarding your manager. A friend of a friend had dinner with a certain well known manager last Monday night down in London and this manager told them that Chelsea had a shortlist of 4 for the managers job and he was the top of that list.

He was 99% certain he would take it and was meeting with Chelsea this week to discuss terms etc. Nothing will be announced until after your Champions League game.

The manager concerned was none other than Harry Redknapp. He is widely available at 14/1 but Sporting Bet have just opened up at 25s. I have £100 on him at various prices at bookies are limiting stakes.

Good luck and hope this comes off as I will be well in the money.

Good luck on Saturday.

My mate has just text me this exact thing so it might just be part of internet rumours, but odd that I come in this topic within minutes to read the same story.

Different poster:
I was told exactly the same thing on Wenesday at a meeting in Coventry. The chap who told me is a massive Man City fan with igh level connections in the Square Mile, and he said simply but firmly " forget all the others, Chelsea are getting Redknapp." he wouldnt let on how he knew, so I dismissed it as a moment of madness. Perhaps there was more truth in it !

Those sound dodgy reading them though, I remember something similar this time last year but maybe Fat Frank/Terry pulling strings, idk?

First one sounds like Harry though, wouldn't be the first time he was "certain" of landing a high profile job...

I don't know. Ryan has consistently laughed at Chelsea/Harry links so I doubt it's true.

but Ryan did say that Harry interviewed for Chelsea last summer. I can't imagine it happening though, what a slap in the face to that would be to both sets of fans.

'If Tottenham feel any emotion this morning, it should be bitter regret. Every other team in the top four won at Aston Villa this season, as did Bolton Wanderers, West Bromwich Albion, Liverpool, Swansea City and Chelsea.
A win at Villa Park on May 6 would have as good as secured third place for Tottenham, but they drew. '

not this
definitely this
hmmm someone very high up in the Chelsea set up has taken the piss out of HR to me, iirc he called HR "illiterate." Didn't sound like he had a high enough opinion of him to bring him in as a manager, and that was during the woeful AVB times.

So if Harry interviewed a year ago and ultimately didn't get the job since they gave it to AVB, is it possible that they are going back to their number 2 choice now? It doesn't appear to make sense but HR definitely has a LOT of connections and it wouldn't surprise me if there were people at Chelsea who want him in the job.

I hope they keep RDM. I don't think he'll do a good job there next season when it comes to the day in day out full time job. They've riden this wave but I am not sure how much of it was down to RDM and Abramovich will demand they play entertaining football next year for sure as he is obsessed by that and all of Di Matteo's success this season has been built around stifling better opposition.

Yea I guess Roman is the shot caller there but the guy I know at Chelsea made fun of Harry by claiming that he didn't know how to read. Maybe it was just a bit of banter, but he seemed quite adamant that Harry wouldn't get the England job as well.

You got some statistical evidence to back that up?

Seen the new DragonITK, seems there is some shizzle going down between HR and DL, maybe this is something Ryan can confirm....
