ferdinand was a pathetic buy,... well past his sell by date... they need to figure out what they're gonna do in 2 weeks to get off this path to the championship...

too many over age and injury-prone players IMO. no real focus,... well, at least they have austin...

I thought Ferdinand could've been a good buy. Over the last couple of years he still looked like he could do it when he managed to get off the treatment table. maybe the slight drop in the players around him has found him out though.

The scary one is Caulker. I thought he would go on and become one of our big regrets by being so good elsewhere. Now I'm like , "meh, maybe he was over performing for us"

The man REALLY should have retired or gone abroad. He should request a transfer for Jan and get the hell outta there a quickly as possible before he does himself more damage. He's chosen to follow his love of the league instead of preserving his reputation. Bad mistake Rio.

Really? He took them up last year, I'm not sure it's as close as some would think/like.

Nah, Tony's getting pissed off. He backed Warnock as boss very publicly until the bitter end. He's already making noises about Redknapp and the management of the club. Three bad results and they're gone.

Given the budgets and players, QPR not finishing top (or even top three) was horrendous last season. Diabolical. And their football was awful. They only went up due to the points earned from having a great defence at the start of the season, which was entirely down to Steve McClaren. They were crap before him, good while he was there, and crap since he left.

The problem with Harry is that while he's been a very good football manager, two problems have hit him - the game has passed him by, and he has fallen out of love/interest in it.

Should be a television studio entertaining us. Not mis-managing teams to relegation and ruining his reputation.

I don't agree about last year's performance, the man who did the damage there was Hughes, but I think your last two points are spot on. The game has passed him by, and I think it's for this reason that he has fallen out of love with the game. It's no longer the good old English, hustle and bustle the crowd will cheer you on, 2 quick wingers with 2 strikers scoring endless goals from crosses.

I've never fully understood the love in with Redknapp. Taking away his spell with us when he was managing Bale, Modric, VDV, etc... what has he ever done in football to be placed on such a pedestall by the media?

One trophy win and taken three different teams to relegation ( and it could be his forth relegation by the end of the season), in over 30 years as a manager. Top manager ;)

In fairness, he's probably kept Autoglass in business as well, I imagine that drivers side window needs replacing at least 4 times a week, and up to 126 during any given January Transfer Window. Doing his bit for British industry, you have to give him that.

To be honest I don't care how many teams he has got relegated or how many teams he is going to get relegated.

All I care about is how a Spurs team managed by him have me my favourite Sours memories in recent times. Playing some fun football, and getting us into the CL and not embarrassing ourselves in the CL.

I don't even care that he had the best team in recent times, he still managed the team to do that.

Yes he created his own downfall with us and had to go, but I will always thank him and respect him for giving me those memories.

QPR can't afford Andros.

But i wonder how much this lot costs:

Harry Redknapp (manager), Kevin Bond (assistant manager), Joe Jordan (first team coach), Kevin Hitchcock (goalkeeping coach), Steve Gallen (senior professional development coach), Les Ferdinand (head of football operations) and of course Glenn Hoddle (another coach).

Imagine how much it will cost to fire that lot!

Never really understood having a pop at him for getting teams relegated, he got Bournemouth promoted before they then got relegated, and both Southampton and QPR were comfortably bottom of the league when he took over, as were we.

I don't think he's ever been considered a top manager in anyone's eyes, he was certainly a good manager for us, in the premier league era, but he's mostly just popular for being a cocky wideboy type character who loves a chat and a soundbite.

He's pretty irrelevant to me now to be honest.
