How would you feel about Becks coming back to Spurs?

Here's something to think about.

If we had Beck's right now, he could come on for the last 15 minutes and provide 'peach' crosses towards that appalling Loserpool defence ...

Becks lack of speed on the right would be compensated by Walker bombing past him on the outside live Neville used to. Think of the possesion we would get with him. Luka, Parker and Ade, and then the poer and pace of Bale and Walker.

Another plus to having Becks: You won't get him refusing to come off the bench!

I would play him on the right wing. Sure, he is not all that speedy but a player like that on the wing can open up the defense. Besides, Walker would provide pace on the right hand side.

I can imagine Beckham crossing in all the way across the pitch to Bale, who sends it in to Adebayor/VDV = goal.

Financial:- Maybe
Football :- No 'king way

Financially it would give us penetration in the Far East that could result in massively increased revenue for years to come. Levy may be thinking about this with the fair play regulations coming into effect.

As a squad player he might be ok and if he was interesting in doing his coaching badges that could be a bonus. However, we have a very strong squad now and I can't see him getting much time with us.

Great and let's bring back David Ginola and Gary Mabbutt while we're at it. Nice fella I'm sure but the only contribution I could see him making is as a merchandising cartoon mascot.

How about Simon Cowell, I'm sure he'd generate some merchandising revenue for us as well.

Beckham is simply not good enough
Beckham is for Beckham and never did cut the mustard at the very highest level in particular when playing for England

Yeah, never cut the mustard at Utd did he?

Never cut it at Madrid either.

If only Lennon had started more games for England ahead of Becks we might have gone further in major comps.

*Yes i'm being sarcy.

A friend of mine met him here last week and he denied he was going to WHL in January. Straight from the horses mouth.

Do no take the lords name in vain!

Besides, I reckon we could get a good 5 - 10 minutes out of him each game, more than I think we'd get out of Becks

I think he would say that though, as surely Becks is savvy enough not to blurt out compromising information when he knows the media circus that surrounds him.

I really hope he joins. His crossing ability is still fantastic, his attitude is second to none, and financially it is a no brainer - particularly when considering that article the other day about the Spurs brand. I'm sure having a character and a player as technically able as Becks would do wonders for the likes of Carroll and the other younger players too.
