I understand where you're coming from but he doesn't give a shit. If he cared about what Spurs fans thought of him then he wouldn't have made that move in the first place. Why though?
are you sure about that? The club were as to blame as he was.
We have moved on from him , but I still feel sick when he appears on tv
He's a ****STOP TALKING ABOUT HIM
I don't want Sol to get AIDs, I don't want to be gifted a toy Arsenal fan so I can kick his head in, I'm pretty sure Liverpool fans with their recent Salah chants don't actually want to convert to Islam. These chants may be objectionable but they're not meant literally by 99% of the people singing them.Sol Campbell is a selfish, loathsome, deluded egomaniac. It is clear that beyond football he isn't the sort of guy most of us would want to hang around with, irrespective of his footballing choices. But the fact is the guy isn't Pol Pot. Leaving one club to join another is not a crime. When fans take the game so seriously that they wish death on someone or otherwise make homophobic chants wishing AIDS on that person, then they have lost all sense of perspective and sunk into the gutter.
I don't need to sink into the gutter to dislike the way another behaves. Doing so would only make me a hypocrite.
What he actually more likely craves is not to have him or his career defined by his ****y treachery. THAT is what we shouldn't let him have. The day we stop giving it to him (within the boundaries of decency of course) is the day he becomes Sol Campbell, ex-Arsenal and England footballer and not Sol Campbell, current and forever ****.What he craves is publicity and we should not let him have it.
Fair point. I personally will never forgive him and what he did should never be forgotten. What he actually craves is not to have him or his career defined by his ****y treachery. While we’re at it Gomes, stop calling my wife.I don't want Sol to get AIDs, I don't want to be gifted a toy Arsenal fan so I can kick his head in, I'm pretty sure Liverpool fans with their recent Salah chants don't actually want to convert to Islam. The 3-5 after extra time was pretty grim ..
To be honest as long as it's not obviously racist/homophobic shit and not criticism of our own players then I couldn't care less. It must be hard work finding so many things offensive. The only person it should be offending is Campbell and who cares what he thinks?
Wishing him dead is probably too far but I doubt 99% of the people singing that song actually want him dead, obviously there's a few genuine nutters but what can you do? You can't choose to take that song literally just to make a point.
