Given there's no smoke without fire, @Trix Intimating that there are some shady shenanigans at play, and he's looking likely to go to Leipzig, I'm kind of glad were missing out on him.

Dodgy agents and their dodgy deals are undermining the prospects and careers for a few young players it would seem, and the game as a whole IMO.

It was really telling that neither of the two big Italian journos (Di Marzio and Fab) or Ally G & Dan KP had anything major to say about this deal. I know AG said we were interested, but the fact 10 random Spanish journos were saying we were about to sign him when none of our trusted ones had even mentioned a deal shows you the kind of salt you need to take when it comes to player links to us.

Don’t get caught up by every random, sudden link to players from journos with no prior connection to the club. Paratici talks to A LOT of agents/players/clubs to gauge interest, and it’s clear lesser reporters jump on this and say “spurs are signing x player”. You’ll waste a lot of time and energy if you do.

I reckon he's gone to pick up Emerson then it's a quick hop to San Sebastian to pick up Oyarzabal, then home in time for a spag bol and glass of chianti.
