This thread is genius! The worst has to be with not spelling names, mostly pronouncing. A spurs fan I know calls Soldado, "Salgado" which really drives me up the wall!

Ha ha ha, I wouldn't go as far as saying genius thread, but slightly more embarrassing seeing as any fucker can read threads in Spurs Chat.

I have to admit to being very guilty of mispronouncing names - although with the spelling I'm alright, but some players, I just get the sounds muddled up something rotten.

I usually shorten names or use nick names to make things easier. Ade, Pav etc.

Mates a gooner. Says with pride they're the only ones with a "the" before their name.
Until i pointed out, you don't say "the god". Because he's important enough not to need "the".

Me too, I always get the sounds muddled up as well, Wanks.

Well, at least the misspelling and mispronunciation of our players' names are not as depressing as a Yohan Kebab..

Towards the end if the game yesterday, my Dad sent the text:

Bloody Kirikez.

A part of me died reading that utter communication car crash.
