My veiw on the England performance was that they did okay. I still think there's abit of work to do there and you gotta remember it was Bulgaria, but a good start none the less!

I thought Joe Hart looked excellant, i think finally we've found a quality keeper! (Well until he makes a mistake...)

And also Defoe ;-) To score a hat-trick in any match is difficult, but in an International Qualifier thats one better!

vdv came in the 2nd half for oranje and assisted huntelaar for a goal after less than a minute. hit the bar with a lovely chip in as well, had his back at the goal turned around and immediately took the shot from outside the box, shame that wasn't a goal. linked well with kuyt (backheel pass) for the build-up to another goal from huntelaar as well.

sneijder tried an outrageous xabi alonso like long range distance shot, but the keeper was right on time back between the posts to save it.

oranje won 5 - 0 away from home although it was only san marino. huntelaar had a hattrick and ruud scored one in the end. huntelaar could have had 4 goals, but left the penalty for kuyt to take it.
