Well, if Malaga can keep him they will.

He could realistically double (more like double and a half) his transfer fee in about 3-4 years.

Exactly why we should go for him now. £15m wouldn't be too high a bid bearing in mind his potential upside...

He's the one I really want although I'm warming to the idea of Willian now...

Isco is the type of player Levy loves im surprised this is not done. for 10-11 million he has a young player he can have in the team for 3-4 years and more than likely pump on for 25 million. I rate the lad highly and would want him for us only but im a realist and thats why im surprised we havent wrapped him up already. I would most definitely prefer isco than willian just on there merits as players and if you factor in the price i think its a steal. Go and get him Levy.

cheers mate

he looks like one for the future rather than one for now, pretty classy player
I disagree he would fit in our team now or at least be challenging for a spot, I didnt think we would have a chance all summer but the issue with the owner not interested in the football may give us the green light

If Rafa goes then whether we sign Dembele and Willian or not, our midfield options will be looking light. We really should be looking at bringing in another if that happens and Isco would be beyond perfect. Could compete with Sig for the no10 spot, Dembele for the creative CM spot (though he'll need a bit of time to grow into that) and would be a fourth option for the wings. Once Dembele's done I would be making this guy top priority if I were Levy and AVB.

From what I've seen I would prefer Isco over Willian. If the rumours about Rafa going are true (  ) I really hope we get in a player like Isco.

Malaga qualified to the Champions League today. I really doubt he would want to come. Maybe on january when they are no longer in the tournament.

Yes I would too, although I think that Willian would be a more natural competitor to Bale and Lennon and that's something we need. Most natural role for Isco would seem to be no10 (though obviously he can fill in elsewhere) but if it were a straight choice between him and Willian then I would choose Isco all day long. Ideally we could bring in both, but I can't see that unless Rafa goes, and of course that's something few of us want.

If VdV does leave then the only way I'm not rioting is if we sign up Isco!

It'd be quite a good move for the future when you consider we have Siggy who's only 22, Carroll who's 20, and Luongo who's 19 already with us. Talk about having some quality players to grow with. Just thinking about what our midfield might be in 3-4 years is an interesting and exciting thought. I mean, Sandro's 23, and Dembele's only 25. Pretty crazy core of youth.

But, to quote Alan Hansen...

"you win nothing with kids"....

Nothing to stop us being the first, though!

11.75 is my guess....250% of what they paid. It's a bit on the high side but what it will take. If VDV goes its a no brainer IMO.

Before anyone goes into a rage, I know they don't play the same position and I know he wouldn't be a direct replacement, but I can definitely see Modric in him as far as beating players goes. He has the quick-feet, balance and agility of Luka and can turn and beat a man on a sixpence. I must admit, I knew not much about him before we were linked, but he does look impressive.
