Yeah - Keano's a confessed Celtic + Liverpool fan.

Who the hell is IN the indispensible group of players then?!

Ramos said Berbs might go, Keane thinks hes not in it.

I think I've heard rumours of every single first team player leaving in the last 2 months, except for Bale!

I'm not going to totally dismiss the idea of Robbie leaving if he's not first choice, but I would be very sad to see him leave.

McGeady however....

Please God, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!:eek:mg:

And there we have it, Ramos is gonna build a whole new starting 11 for next season, a very exciting summer in prospect.

If Keane leaving is dependent on Villa and Eto'o coming in, then I'd say it's reasonable to assume he'll still be here next season.

I thought a few months ago that Ramos would change the playing system at Spurs because the days of playing 4-4-2 are gone, none of the top teams play that system!
The only problem was that the 4-3-3 did not suit our strikers - I really don't think that Berbatov or Keane would flourish in that system - however it would suit Bent,he has the height,he has the pace but has he got the touch to take us forward?
I know it sounds crazy to break up a partnership that has scored almost 50 goals this season but if Berbatov leaves,Ramos may have little choice!

Everyone knows Keano grew up as a Celtic fan. Journo's know this so they re-hash it like always because he was linked with the past and every transfer window we hear that rumour that he'll be leaving us for them. Keane continues to reiterate his life at Spurs, how muhc he loves it, how settled it is, how good Ramos is and how he loves playing with Berbatov. I'd bet my mortgage (if I had one) that he'll be in a Spurs shirt come Septemder 1st. He's not leaving. End of story.

The only way I could ever see him leaving Spurs is perhaps finishing his career with Celtic for a season or two, much like Roy Keane did.

We can sleep easy tonight, folks.

From the Irish rich list 2008...6. Robbie Keane €19mAs an U-10 schoolboy playing for Crumlin United, Keane was paid £1 a goal. This year he overtakes his Ireland teammate Damien Duff to become the country's sixth richest sportsman. Keane now enjoys a basic salary of €1.5m at Tottenham. He signed a new-five year contract with Spurs in May last year that will keep him at the club until 2012.* Note Euros not pounds !

Based on the last few weeks, Keane ain't excatly setting the world alight, well, not even N17.

Keane has been a great servant, but his glaring lack of pace is becoming too obvious to us all. I expect him to be here next season, but if he fails to deliver to his high standard, Ramos will despatch him at the end of the year for a stronger, quicker, maybe not so skillful replacement.

1,500,000 euros is about £22,500 a week, which appears much less than the reported £60k we are supposed to be paying him.

I sincerely hope the win bonuses and add-ons would at least double that to £40k.

No wonder he shops in River Island.
