Sadly I can see this one happening. Wenger will see Mata as ideal for them. Hate to say it but think he would chose then dicks over us

I don't see how they could keep Mata and Cazorla happy in the system they play, only one position available really, play both and they become unbalanced..

I know they're worried about the amount of games Wilshere plays, very injury prone. Maybe play Cazorla more central/ deeper against lesser teams and play Mata behind the striker. Whatever they do hope Mata doesn't go there cause he'll strengthen them.

Tottenham have insisted their pursuit of Juan Mata is genuine and will target the unsettled player ahead of the transfer deadline.
The Spain playmaker faces an uncertain future at Chelsea with the club poised to bring in Brazilian ace Willian.
Atletico Madrid have ruled themselves out of the bidding for Mata – leaving the way open for the White Hart Lane club.
The Blues responded to interest from Spurs earlier this week by insisting they had no intention of selling to their London rivals.
But AVB remains keen and is monitoring developments.
Atletico had declared their intention to take the unhappy star to the Vicente Calderon Stadium, but club president Enrique Cerezo fears their interest could flounder as the big money is still in the Premier League.
Cerezo said: “Mata is a good player. But he is in the Premier League and over there they are paid a lot.
“We have a fantastic squad and right now I do not know if the coach is planning to bring in anyone else or not, but even so, we have seven days.”
Meanwhile, Spurs have been warned off Brazil striker Hulk by Zenit St Petersburg.
Villas-Boas is keen to be reunited with the powerful frontman who scored 36 goals for him during their time at Porto together.
Hulk helped AVB’s Porto team to win the title, the Portuguese Cup and Europa League.
The striker, also linked with Chelsea this summer, is understood to be hungry to work with his former boss again.
But Zenit boss Luciano Spalletti said: “Hulk is not for sale.”
Despite Spalletti’s comments, Zenit are understood to be ready to do business at £40million.
Spurs are not prepared to pay anywhere near that much – despite Hulk’s willingness to take a wage cut.
Villas-Boas revealed at the end of last season Hulk was under consideration.
He said then: “He was my player, but it’s impossible he will move here because of his wages.”

Idk, Mata's always said very positive things about AVB. Maybe that factor could cause him to choose us over them, if Chelsea would even sell him.
