I never ever thought I'd be doing this. I don't do bandwagon jumping or dish out Spurs praise, I'm an extreme sceptic.

However, I have to say that I'm very very impressed thus far. Yes we didn't get the points today, but away from home we played West Ham off the park. We were all over them and all they could resort to was dirty tackles that got away with it.

But I am loving the way Ramos makes moves that most of us would only ever think up making in Football Manager. He is ruthless enough to take off players who he just doesn't think are performing (Kaboul). Or he'll make crazy switches and completely change our shape to try and win a game. I guess the spark behind this post was reading this Curbishley quote - RE: our switch to 3 - 4 - 3. "I didn't know what Tottenham were doing," admitted Curbishley.

For a change, I may be on the cusp of belief.

All I can say is that I love the way that JR is only playig for winning and I can't even remember when we last time played attacking football after we was going to draw....

What was so good to see was how the team responded, I am still not sure what formation we were playing, but Zokora, Dawson, Bale, and Lennon all seemed to have their roles switched and they were doing a bloody good job.

I think the formation might have been

.........................Robbo...........................
..........Chimbonda..........Dawson...............
.........................Zakora..........................
Lennon.............................................Bale
.................Jenas......Malbranque...............
.........................Berbatov........................
.................Keane......Bent........................

Yesterday was an exciting game to watch and Ramos really plays for win and nothing less! I like it! It really looks promising, it was a totally different team playing there yesterday than what we've seen so far this season. I don't know if he is tactical genius, but he certainly has more tactical knowledge and courage to do things than our former man in charge...

was great!, not sure if we looked a bit uncomfortable with 3 strikers on. too many cooks and all that. I was hoping for prince to come on to spice it up a bit.

Yeah me to Taoist i thought that Keane should have made way for the Prince put Jenas at Right wing back and push lennon up in Keane's role,
Ramos has shown to all of the side if you playing poorly then you'll be off the pitch,
Ghaly won't ever be back!,
Plus i think it keeps all the players fretting over getting the chop,
It's definitely worked on Robinson.

not sure who this zakora fella is though
 the worst thing is this is happening every week on every site to do with spurs and the guy has played for the club for over a year now,you think most of the fans would get it right by now:roll:

definatly, i think JJ has definatly upped his game. I've always been quite critical of the fella and now under ramos you can see he was clearly coasting under jol.

I don't know why it is happening, I know how to spell his name, as can be seen from earlier in that post, it must just be the fingers moving faster than the brain, it is rather inexplicable how it keeps on happening

Ramos' changes in the 2nd half turned Malwank into Zidane

I thought Jenas was great throughout.

I think you mean Shimbomba. Who plays in the same team as Malbrank.

See now, I agree that Ramos is tactically very astute but did anyone else not think that dropping Berba in behind Bent and Keane/Defoe was a bit odd? I mean when Keane was still on the field surely he should have been behind Bent and Berba cos it seemed that we started to bang the ball long to Bent for flicks and he wasn't winning a single header.....understandably. I also found that Berba's touch was magnificent when he was bringin it down but then he'd try to run out of midfield with it and kept gettin tackled!

Hhmm, strange, but hey-ho, I liked the way he went for the win, it was very open and exciting. We still look a little ropey at the back with Younes in there so I'd like to see Rocha come back in before King is fit but I thought Chimbo and Zokora performed well, if a little unothordox when they both dropped into defence.
