Tactically inept and just an all round ugly fucker.

Ginger also.

surely he is not as inept as Clueless Ramos.

The more i think about it thank God Chelsea had Grant in charge when we beat them or Ramos would have been shown up even earlier.

I agree with Joey. Like Gullit, Rijkaard was a top player, and a good coach with top players. We don't have enough top players for a coach like Rijkaard.

Ramos should be doing better with this lot, because man-for-man we're at least as talented as his 2006 Sevilla team. They did have some players - eg Dani Alves - who are better than what we have. But man-for-man they're not better. By that logic, Ramos should be having far more success with the squad he has - even if we're clearly poorer up front than we were last season.

Ramos has not convinced me at all, only the cc win has glossed over the fact that he or rather the team has been pretty poor since he came in. It should have set off alarm bells after winning the cup and coasting the last 7 or so games. A manager should not be satisfied with that and if he cant pick the players up to produce the goods no one can.

Every player is making poor decisions (with the exception of Gomez who looks as good a shot stopper as I've ever seen and has saved us from further embarassment). The wrong passes are played and when a player receives the ball he turns his back to the goal and so the attack stutters and peeters out.

I'm sure Ramos's lack of english is a problem and maybe he can't form good relationships with the players and so is not respected by them.

I really dont want us to go through the same merry-go-round of sacking a manager mid season then hastily appointing someone else as events like that make us a laughing stock and diminishes what was a big club but if, come christmas we're still down there I don't see much choice - to have a team of players that formerly had so much quality now look like a pub team shows he's not the manager for us.

Bring Back David Pleat !:grin::grin::grin::grin: or better still Hoddle :rofl::rofl: We are tottenham ! super tottenham from the chmpionship ! love it, has a nice ring to it.

Well I think Pleat is an excellent talent spotter and a much better DoF than Comoli.

Hoddle not great but as things stand was he much worse than Ramos? certainly had a much worse team.

I know you joke but DC/Ramos certainly is'nt a million miles from Pleat/Hoddle.

Would actually be interesting to see what Pleat could do with £200 million and how Hoddle would do with a squad worth that much (not saying I want it to happen mind:wink:)

Sacking Ramos would be stupid in the build up to the match today.Sky spoke to Keith Burkinshaw who had a nightmare start to his time as Spurs Manager but the board stuck with him and he went on to achieve great things for us.So i would stick with Ramos because if we sack him we will just continue the cycle of new manager new players over and over again we need to show loyalty and stability.COYS!!!!!!!!

That's right - Burkinshaw got relegated during his first season with us but he went on to be the second most successful manager in modern times.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ramos leaves this week and Poyet gets put in charge.

Bit different though, when Burkinshaw got relegated the league was a completely different animal. You actually had a fighting chance of coming back up and staying up then, now???... well we might get back up, we might not if we go down and certainly we can kiss goodbye to european football for what, 5 / 6 years? Financially I have no idea what it would do to the club, but I suspect it wouldn't be pretty. Basically we as a club cannot afford to go down and if that means sacking the fella in charge to avoid it then you can guarantee thats what will happen.

Lose to Hull & things get very, very messy. We've got 2 pts, no wins & a bunch of defeats. We're throwing points away right now.

You have to wonder what the board are thinking.

What is worrying me the most is that Ramos can't seem to identify where he's going wrong (ie: random, unbalanced, constantly changing team selections, static play, Michael Dawson)

I think its vital to have stability, but all I can see at the moment is the same dire performance replicated against different teams. And if nothing has been done in 8 or so games, whats to suggest it'll be any different in 10 games time.

I really hope I'm wrong on this one, but I can see it just getting worse and worse.

Ramos out. I do not recall to have asked for Big Martin's head but he gave us 2 5th places, a rock solid home reputation and positivism around the club. What did Ramos do, apart from the CC victory? Look at his record, it is truly agonising. Please bring in a man-manager who could install some confidence in the players like Jol did.

Why did you vote 'Hell no, bring Jol back', if you're not saying you don't want him back?:-|

I wouldn't have thought anyone seriously thinks Jol is likely to come back, would I have him back personally?.. well if we go out of europe and lose to hull, then in the absence of any other viable alternative then yes I think I would. Will it happen?.. no chance

Someone very solid with lots of experience who can work quickly with what he has. Hiddink would be a great choice - said that for a while, but I doubt he's going to budge for us, so who else?

We're rapidly going backwards at the moment.

Sack him now, before it's too late and we end up playing Championship football next season.

The way things are going under him, it's possible.

I can't see us winning our next five league and cups games.

Five losses in fact.
