Tao, sorry, there hasn't been any actual direct ITK on Kaka, so have I started this thread in the wrong place? If so, is it possible to move it somewhere more appropriate?

I'm gonna hack an ITK account just to keep this thread. :)

Or....

I'm on my phone and can't delete it or move it :)

I'm sorry but even at his age, Kaka is world class. My worry is where we are with squad registration, but if we have a spot for him, it's a no brainer.

Holtby/Eriksen/Lamela/Carroll learning from him for 2 years would do wonders.

No he is not. He hasn't been World Class for a long time.

I think signing Kaka would kind of send out the wrong message to the squad too, especially the new guys. The squad is big but everyone is young and willing to prove themselves and fight for a starting spot. If i was Eriksen and had just signed up i would be pretty pissed to find out that the number of starting slots in the team had just been decreased one because of a loanee. Kaka wont come here to be a squad player imo.

I cannot believe people would not want Kaka.:)

Massive wages, injury record, we don't play a CAM, age and stopping the progression of Lamela, Holtby, Sig and Eriksen?

Would be a pointless signing, can't drift wide with effect like the two new boys we're bringing in. He's a big name, but not a big player anymore. 2 years ago maybe, but now, no chance. AVB won't sign him anyways, far too old.

I just think it would interesting to see how he got along with us on loan for a year. I'd like to see whether the old fire could be ignited in a new environment?

This. 1000x this. We are building a young squad with bags of potential. I want to see Holtby/Eriksen grow in the no.10 role. I don't want a 31 year old injury prone player disturbing that.

Behind Soldado.

Quite. Welcome to Spurs Eriksen. Welcome back to fitness Holtby. By the way, do you mind putting your progress on hold for a year to make way for a dinosaur earning twice your wage? Thanks but no thanks.

Holtby and Eriksen can grow by playing in cup games and coming off the bench to replace Kaka.

too true he isnt world class anymore, would be backward step, hold the progress of younger players, all the good things we are doing in the transfer market and people want Kaka unbelieveable.

No thanks, way past his best and massive wages plus doesn't fit into our high energy philosophy.

I'll be brutally honest, Kaka is HORRENDOUSLY overrated and has been average to poor for about 5 years now, I don't want him near Spurs because he would cost far too much and is not worth it at all.

He is just no longer a top player, has not been for a long time.

Whether your onions in here are right or wrong its bloody hilarious that there are people here that are saying no to Kaka.

People outside this forum would think its some kind of mental asylum
