He is still class. Can link midfield to attack, score goals take set pieces. Why would you not want him. Would be like Klinsmann again.

He has been very poor or injured for years, we are building a strong, young and hungry squad - Kaka is way past his best, injury prone and in my opinion has been overrated for years. I honestly would be disappointed if we signed him.

I think Kaka is getting waaay too much stick in here, and we would be silly to write him off. With that said though, according to transfermarkt his last injury dates back to 31.12.10 aka. injury free for 2 and a half year. Not really injury prone for me...

Y arsenal? He's not at all what they lack. Is the opposite if a wenger signing, on massive wages with no sell on?

He would totally appease their fans and join for nothing. He also is the exact opposite of what they need, so they will no doubt go all out for him.

You think he's still going to be here? How can you say he's not a top player? Again, kaka thead ->

What is your defenition of a top player? For me you actually have to play some games to be a top player and not be injured or sit on the bench. He was a top player, isn't anymore and it would be mental to sign him at this moment in time even if he was handed to us for free. He is not what we need or what we want to make this club go forward.

I don't know if Sigurdsson will be with us, not really that important at the moment since we will probably sign Eriksen and we have Holtby on the books. We also have Chadli who plays as a #10 for Belgium. I've not been impressed by Sigurdsson since he signed for us. A worrying thing is that he didn't look any better today against a low tier team than he does against PL teams.

Maldini was the epitome of permanent class. He played LB until he was nearer to 40 than 30!!!

Firstly he is a defender, who will always have a greater shelf life than an attacking player. Secondly, by the end retirement was calling for him.
