Iheanacho didn't really cost City anything and with him being a very bit part player it's difficult to put a value on him. I'd say if City aren't prepared to go over £40m then £40m cash plus Iheanacho should do the trick. We should have more than enough from the sale of Walker, Sissoko and Bentaleb and co to be able to bring in Pereira?, Barkley and another centre back. Lopez looks likely with McGee on the move.

Don't think I'd call him a bit part player - 20 appearances last year. Ok, many were as a sub, but he was an important squad member. Scored in Champions League and also has bagged 6 goals in 10 internationals. In today's crazy transfer values, I think he'd be worth more than £10m if we were looking to make the Walker £40m fee worth closer to £50m.

Never seen anything in this fella that has excited me in any way, very underwhelming.

Finishing a season as City's third-highest goalscorer at age 19 when you only started 11 games is no mean feat.

21 goals in 64 club appearances - most of them as a sub - and 6 goals in 10 international appearances are pretty impressive stats.

Would be delighted if we signed him, he is a talented kid and seems to be a natural goal scorer. Every time I've watched him I've been impressed.

City dominate alot of games and create plenty of chances.stick him upfront for palace and see if your all stick raving about him.

Weird argument alert.

I've always said the same about Messi to be fair. I reckon he'd be pants at Crystal Palace, and that is after all the true test of a player's ability.

He's fast, can dribble, great positionally and as you say he's a shit-hot finisher. Not sure what more you want from a striker?!
I don't think he is a particularly great dribbler and I'm also not sure I agree about his positioning.

He seems to get quite a few 'right place right time' goals which I think shows a good striker's instinct/positioning (call it what you will).

From what I've seen he also seems to be able to create a fair bit of space quite quickly, so whilst I don't remember two many times where he's 'dribbled' past someone, he does get himself into good positions relatively easily.

Plus he's still pretty young. I think he'd be a great investment in an area where we are a bit short on quality at the moment.

We also dominate games and create a lot of chances so I guess Kane is crap too?

Iheanacho has the most goals per minute of any player with over ten goals in the history of the league.

In regards to your first paragraph so did Darren Bent. Didn't make him the right striker for us

Apparently Dani Alves is going to PSG so Man City are desperate for Walker.
40 mill and Kelechi would be a good deal imo but I am probably dreaming.
He is 20 and the fact Monaco and Dortmund are sniffing around shows he must have something in his locker.
