It's difficult with Mason and Bentaleb because individually they are excellent but as a pair the only game i've seen a convincing performance by both was Arsenal. Not sure they work together as a 2, either supplement them with another midfielder or bring someone a little more defensive minded in.

I'd also look to bring Fazio back in as him and Jan were there when we were looking a bit more solid earlier in the season.

Long term, we really need to look at CB and the right sort of CM. Personally I think we're missing a fully fit Sandro type. Not fully convinced Stambouli has the quality for the role long term. I'd be looking at Song in the summer.

Why Rose/Davies? Rose has been so much better than Davies for us this season, it's not even close. If anybody needs an alternative in that line-up, it's Walker.

Aleksandar Dragović is the Austrian CB we should be looking at, tbh though i know nothing about Wimmer.

I signed Dragovic on FIFA 14, in my first season with Spurs. Shot up to about 85 within two years. Based on that, he's one of the top young CBs around, but I haven't checked whether Football Manager agrees

Not a first teamer yet as he needs to develop his game a lot. There is some very very good potential and once in training and playing with the lads we will bring him in over time,(what we intended to do with Dier)hence why we have moved for him early.

Since we are not going on tour this summer it indicated that poch has sold the idea of how important this seasons pre season will be to levy.

And I'm sure that poch has also stressed the importance of obtaining all key signings before pre season in order for this pre season to be fully worthwhile.

Just hope this happens but I doubt it, especially as we need to sell a number of players first

I think an announcement to the effect that both clubs and the player have agreed to a transfer when the window opens is not against the rule.

If we sell Vlad and Kaboul and leave Verts, Fazio, and Dier then we need another CB IMO.

When was Fazio last chosen even for the bench? Don't get me wrong, I think we should start him again. But since he is not even a substitute these days... Even with Fazio, 3 is not a great number of viable options for CB.
