Have now seen the pictures but speaking to my mate he dont want these pictures going around as the were private pictures and obviously dont wanna mess up the friendship, and neither do i. he dont mind his mates seeing but doesn't want them plastered over the net, i hope you can understand. i think a guy at work is a member on here and if he is i'll ask him to confirm these pictures. but as far as im concerned ledley told my mate there was no need for him to play after the carling cup final and that he was ready for the new season so i believe it to be as good as true

To be honest I think we'll all believe his knee is ok when he's played for 10 games in a row with no set backs.

Makes sense, no worries. Best not to cause anyone any problems.
I live in Barcelona, just curious, ask where they went out while they were here if you can.

Plus, if your mate that's in BCN is interested in playing footie, I manage a team in the international league here and if he wants a game let me know and I'll pass on my details for him to egt in touch....

cheers

Why does he have to go to Barcelona to have his knee checked? Is Barcelona the centre of knee excellence? All the knee specialists flood to Barcelona to work? Where do the elbow specialists congregate?

Most of the top knee surgeons in the world are in or close to major ski resorts - Colorado and Vancouver are where many of them are based. Shoulder specialists are in major tennis areas (Florida where many of the training centres are located, for example, plus also South West London ie near to Wimbledon).

But I can confirm that 95% of elbow specialists are indeed in or around Weybridge/Cobham so that they can tend to the wanking-induced injuries the chelski scum self-inflict (or perhaps mutually - wouldn't put that past them either)

The Goat heard a while ago that Ledders was due to spend a week at Robbo's villa in Spain, I assume this trip was related to that?

It really pisses me off right now when people have a pop at our defence and point to last season.

Our back 5 for the first few months of last season was:

Robinson, Chimbonda, Kaboul, Dawson, Lee/Bale/Whoever was fit.

This season it should be:

Gomes, Hutton, King, Woodgate, Bale/Gilberto. Thats a completely different back 5 and one which is better in every department. Even Bale will be an improvement on himself due to a tad more experience and better team-mates. I actually think that, IF we get a bit of luck with injuries we will have one of the better defences in the Prem, so I wish hacked website "journo's" and numpty Gooners would actually think before they mouth off about our defence as they clearly know sod all about it.
