I understand he deleted this pretty sharpish, good to see some emotion from our players, it clearly hurt today but the fact our players openly give a shit puts us in good stead for the rest of the season.

In his last tweet 5 mins ago he apologises for the other tweet.

Tbh it seems that the lads are all bitter about today but remain positive.

Benny says this is the 'most irritating defeat so far this season.' There is no LOL so must be pretty down.

kaboul says he is 'proud of the team and supporters. We all keep going together.'

Rafa is dissapointed but 'thanks the support.'

Defoe is gutted and 'wishes he had longer legs.'

Ade says, 'great comeback, shame we could'nt get a point, boys played well and we'll bounce back.'

Lennon is also gutted but thanks the support.

We will be back, make no bones about that! COYS

Yea, really happy to see the players responses after that game, because many of them are like those of the fans. It's like when I see the players shaking hands at the end and smiling after a loss and I'm thinking why the fuck are you smiling, I'm livid here!

Hopefully we'll get a big result in some of the Liverpool away, United at home, Arsenal away and Chelsea away games that will help us all forget about this. COYS.

Found out the Wigan game is actually now a week on Tuesday, ****s!!!

I agree. Easy to look at guys like Kaboul, and think "hard bastard". But Walker's seriously stocky, stacked and as fit as a bull, wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of him. Reckon he's more than capable of looking after himself.

Souness (who seems to be more and more a Spurs fan every time he watches one of our games) was saying he wants to see anger from our players in response to that defeat today, rather than a team feeling sorry for themselves.

Walker's tweet, while not particularly dignified, shows such an anger.

As for whether or not he was right in what he said, I posted this in another thread a while ago, and I still feel the same.

There were undoubtedly City fans who stayed with them when they sunk to the 3rd tier of English football, but the likelihood is that a fair chunk of those giving it out now are johnny-come-lately's. Kyle probably feels something similar, however its difficult to qualify sich a statement in 140 characters.
