I don't agree with rotation - same as last time with Sanchez in for Romero. We need to build on momentum and look to bring fresh legs on if we can later on.

Doesn't feel like a good time to play Leicester although they did score from 4 out of 5 shots on target against Villa and their first goal was given to them on a plate so I think the 4-2 score line was a bit flattering.

I'm a bit torn on the whole Royal/Porro situation after Royal's MOTM performance. Feels like terrible squad management to drop him after that but I also feel like we could really use a player like Porro marauding down the right in a game like this. I suppose the sensible move would be to give Royal 60-odd and ease Porro in to his debut against tired Leicester legs.

I expect the only change will be Tanganga or Sanchez in for Romero. No need to overthink it beyond that.
The main reason I was OK for Emerson to stay vs other options was that we know have more balance with him being the solid defensive option whereas Porro can be the offensive, ball progressive option.

Over the whole season that might give Porro mote minutes overall but Emerson will get the chance to play in bigger games.

Porro - Leicester
Emerson - Milan (Leao)
Porro - West Ham
Emerson - Chelsea (Mudryk)

With Sanchez starting against Leicester there is also a good reason to play Porro, we always struggle with Sanchez + Royal because of their limitations in possession making us easy to press.

Tell Royal he’s getting Milan and he’ll be good squad management wise.

If Porro starting I’d be fine with Sessegnon getting the start with Perisic being back mid week.

I get what you're saying but a better offensive wing back gives the opposition more to think about defensively, as much as we need to consider their attack.

Son and Kane love to score against them, feel confident about this one. We have some great options on the bench too.

Yea. Villa missed a lot of massive chances against Leicester, they are still so vulnerable defensively.

I wonder if he might rotate the wing-backs, just given the Milan game comes so quickly afterwards and he’ll want Emerson & Perisic starting that one.

Good luck to those playing on the left, Tete is fast and doesn't stop moving.
We're screwed then with Perisic snd sessignon ? one is slow the other just isn't good enough and lacking confidence hopefully Davies can help out down the left.

Sanchez in for Romero and maybe sessegnon for peresic.

Personally I'd like to see bissouma and Richarlison get a game. But with son and hoijberg having good games against city I'd be tempted to leave it.

Some early second half subs would be nice... Porro, Danjuma, Bissouma and Richarlison.

I only saw parts of the game, do we know how the lad Souttar they signed from Stoke got on? I know he scored an own-goal but it'll be interesting to know whether he's an improvement on Amartey or Soyuncu in the long-run.

We are beginning to bubble along nicely, in the last four games there have been incremental improvements. City away was a really strong first half and a decent second half punctuated by schoolboy errors to concede the goals to lose a game we should have taken at least a point from. Fulham was a solid, determined away win, Preston was a potentially tricky FA Cup game under the lights that we made look easy with a professional performance and City at home was a complete performance encompassing all the best elements of the other three games. Now with a fully fit squad we travel to Leicester to play a team that we have a tremendous record against in recent years. They come into it off the back of a very impressive 4-2 away win at Villa but they will still be smarting from Bergwijn's two in two minutes stoppage time spectacular last season and Sonny's 13 minute hat-trick in the 6-2 mauling at the TH in September, with both players coming from the bench to score. We have two new signings itching to make their PL debuts for us off the bench, and who is to say that Porro or Danjuma cannot emulate these scoring antics? Richarlison has yet to score a PL goal for us so maybe he comes off the bench to bag a couple! Whichever way it comes we look compact and solid again and I really fancy us to continue our good run with another win on Saturday. Leicester City 1 Tottenham Hotspur 3. COYS!

40% of all goals we've scored against Leceister in PL history has been scored by Kane and Son. They must hate the sight of them.

Not sure why we'd rather save Emerson to play against an AC Milan who look absolute dogshite lately. Would probably be better to shore up vs Leicester and give him an extra couple of days and then let Porro have at Milan if we're going to look to rotate. We have to keep ticking in the league and stop conceding so many stupid goals, whereas the CL is the punt this year.

Forster
Sanchez - Davies
Porro - Dier - Sessegnon
Bentancur - Hojbjerg
Deji - Kane - Son

Rest Royal for AC Milan. Perisic probably better suited to playing against them as well.

Dier shown in front of the other two CBs to demonstrate how he needs to keep stepping out on the press (he's still a CB). I really loved the way he (finally) started doing it vs. City. We had been far too flat before that. It made such a difference. More of the same please.

We'll probably run the first 11 into the ground as usual, but I'd love to some rotation ahead of the Milan game. Son hasn't done enough for me in the EPL to start again and I think Richarlison deserves a chance in his best position. Sess in for Perisic and Porro in at RWB. I'd shift Emerson to RCB. I trust him more than Sanchez. I'd also like to see Bissouma in for Bentancur to make sure he doesn't pick up an injury ahead of Milan. But I fully suspect it'll be the same 11 as the last game with Sanchez in for Romero.
