When you look at Maddison's strike rate over the last 2 seasons, it's crazy that there are people who don't want him, when we've become so reliant on Kane. Without pens, Maddison has a better goals per minute than Kane since the start of last season!

I don’t think there’s anyone who doesn’t want him. Just I couldn’t see the club paying the money to get him as rotation for Kulu.
He has pretty bad injury issues so he is a risk and given they wanted huge money.
Look, I think he’d be the perfect Kulu rotation and allow us to play 3 5 2 and he’ll have 1 year left so if we have champions league Next season, we actually manage to sell lo celso and ndombele then if the price comes to more 40m I hope we do go for him. We need English talent badly

Not sure I'd have Barnes over Son, Richarlison and even Danjuma

Don't get ahead of yourself over Danjuma just yet.
he may turn out to be just another Bergwijn.
Two years ago Barnes would have been a good back-up,
been consistently good for several seasons
and Richarlison wasn't even on the horizon.
Maddison was a big miss and i've said so frequently.
Probably couldn't afford him now.
