The only currently functioning in that Chelsea team is the attacking three behind the striker. Their goalkeeper, defence, CM and strikers are horrendous at the moment. I'm stunned that a Mourinho team is looking so shambolic at the back to be honest.

(Mwhaahahaha!)

I asked a Chelski fan and he says it's a reference to first London winner of the CL.

I pointed out that whatever it means, it doesn't look like it and to opposing fans it looks fucking stupid.

The self-proclaimed 'Special One' said: "It's very difficult to play a football match where only one team wants to play. It's very difficult.

"A football match is about two teams playing and this match was only one team playing and another team not playing.

"I told Big Sam and I repeat my words: they need points and, because they need points, to come here and play the way they did, is it acceptable? Maybe, yes.

"I cannot be too critical, because if I was in his position I don't know if I would do the same. Maybe.

"At the same time I told him also this is not Premier League, this is not the best league in the world, this is football from the 19th century."

LOL! Oh the irony!

Wasn't it just a few months ago he went to Old Trafford without a striker and set the team up to defend with 10 behind the ball.

Didn't Chelsea master the art of bricking up the goal in the Champion's League? Fuck parking the bus, they dynamited the multistory car park!

Anyone recall Inter boring everyone to death against both Barca and Bayern to win the Champions League? Even Chelsea's CL win a couple of years ago was basically a Mourinho tactic that Di Matteo called upon. It can be successful, of course, and these examples are the proof, but it's highly amusing that Mourinho doesn't like the taste of his own medicine.

So utterly tedious every time he does not get his way he throws his toys out the pram and the press pack grovel at his feet.
Actually enjoyed fat head SAMs response.
Top manager but arrogant prick.who everyone should see through

He's at it again

‘The problem with Chelsea is I lack a scorer,’ said Mourinho (right), speaking in French. ‘I have Eto’o but he is 32 years old, maybe 35, who knows?

On Falcao, signed from Porto for £50million last year and understood to be among Chelsea’s top targets, he added: ‘I need a striker. Falcao needs a club. A player like him cannot play in front of 3,000 people. Monaco is a club to end (your career with).’

The inference is clear for Eto’o, Fernando Torres and Demba Ba ahead of Wednesday's last-16 Champions League first leg against Galatasaray.

The conversation was recorded by French broadcasters Canal+ in Switzerland on February 17 and appeared as a video clip on their website. It has since been removed but Mourinho’s words had already been well circulated, much to his embarrassment.

Poor taste imo

"You should be embarrassed as media professionals.
"From an ethical point of view, I don't think you're happy - not you (personally) - that a colleague is able to record a private conversation and make it public. From an ethical point of view, it's a real disgrace.

"I'm not defending what I'm saying. I'm attacking something fundamental in your professional area. That person showed exactly what he doesn't know about the job.

"From my perspective, the (Eto'o) comment is obviously not a good one, and not one I would do in a serous way or an official way - first of all, because I don't make fun; secondly, because if there are managers in the world that really defend players, I'm obviously one of them; third, because Samuel Eto'o is Samuel Eto'o.

"He's four times a Champions League winner - people think three, but four. I was with him at Inter when I had the best ever season of my career, and he's one of few players working with me in a second different club. A manager never does that when he doesn't like the player or person.

"He has no reason to be upset. Also he said a few years ago, 'Mourinho is the only manager I would never play for'. After one year, he was with me at Inter, and now he's here. There is no story."

Mourinho was less forthcoming when asked if he had spoken to his other strikers, Fernando Torres and Demba Ba about the leaked conversation.

He said: "If you are ready to speak about the game now, I'm ready."

Keep digging that hole Mo

just read this on the BBC Sports Day Live thread, following some trouble in Istanbul (not Constantinople)

Chelsea tweeted: "The club is aware of 2 incidents involving fans in Istanbul last night & is working with relevant agencies to best ensure safety of all. CFC fans in Istanbul reminded it's not safe to use Metro to & from stadium today. Special bus recommended."

I would recommend a 'Special Bus' for Chelsea fans every time :)

One of these should do the trick!!. Jose is entertaining but his trouble is he can't keep his gob shut when presented with a microphone just like Arry. I think thats why he has never stayed anywhere long becuase he ends up upsetting people and creating cliques and divisions. Can't see this spell at Chelsea being any different.
