Hazard officially real Madrid player
It must be nice to be able to actually complete transfers.

Apparently they haven’t contested the ban at this moment so it still stands

Wonder who they will get as head coach next. Whoever it is won’t last longer than 18-24 months, it’s the Chelsea way. Wonder if they’ll poach Fat Frank and then in a year or two do the dirty on one of their own.
They’ll have to bung them a lot of cash if they have that transfer ban. Without doing that, not many top managers will want to go there if they can’t bring players in.
The ban should be an exciting time for the club. Get a progressive manager in and play the youngsters for a year. They’ve some potentially good players there. Take a hit on where they may finish in the league for one season but give them a chance to see if they are good enough for the league. They won’t, but they should and you’d think their fans would like to see some of their home grown lads brought through.
If I were a Chelsea fan I’d be excited to see what a manager like Lampard could do with a free hit of a season and a bunch of youngsters. It’d be a great chance for them to have a massive clearout of the old guard and change the culture within the club. He’s a club legend, so would have the good will of the fans to root out the bad eggs in the squad and behind the scenes. Just can’t see it happening though. The fate of the last three managers shows that there’s something rotten at the heart of that club.
Last three is an understatement, the same shit has happened to almost every manager since the Russian bought the club.If I were a Chelsea fan I’d be excited to see what a manager like Lampard could do with a free hit of a season and a bunch of youngsters. They'd be stupid not to go for Allegri, but if the transfer ban is upheld Allegri would be stupid to go there.Story in the Guardian suggests it’s ON (Sarri leaving for Juventus). It also says:
To replace Sarri, Chelsea will now look to former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri, Nuno Espírito Santo of Wolves, Javi Gracía of Watford, Laurent Blanc, a free agent since being sacked by Paris Saint-Germain in 2016, and former player and all-time leading goalscorer Frank Lampard, who led Derby to the Championship play-offs in his first season in management.
Chelsea fans hate him though. It'd be delightful.Would be an excellent appointment for them IMO.
Not so good for us....he will sort them out.
