So many ex players can't see past their old side. It's like Phil Neville picking Ibra as player of the year because, "where would united be without him?". What does that have to do with the player of the year? Has he been better than Costa, Kante or Hazard who are top of the league? Better than Kane or Alli who've helped us to 2nd in the league? Nope, but he just see's things from a united perspective, just like Carragher just see's everything from a Liverpool viewpoint.

I see Liverpool have been fined £100,000 and banned from signing academy players for 2 years according to the BBC....

Which is what happened to Barcelona and Madrid isn't it in the same situation. That should be the same punishment really.

I agree it's hardly going to put clubs off with the buying power of Liverpool. Although stops them going for Sessegnon which is good for us!

“If you’re going to play week in week out, it may have to be a level down,” *

The Spurs comment doesn't worry me, he's just trolling but its this comment that doesn't make sense. Surely Pool WANT him to be able to play week in week out. Does he even understand what that means?

I thought the same thing. If Sturridge could play week in week out, why would they want to sell him?

Sky will still be wanking over them until they are mathematically unable to win the title.
They've played a game more than us, Chelsea and City and 2 more than Arsenal and United. Could still easily finish 6th.

They'll finish outside the top 4 in my opinion. Arsenal will have a run and catch them and Liverpool can't beat the easier teams at home OR away!

5th placed for form in the last ten games 15/30pts. Arsenal have 14/30, City 16/30 United 18/30 so they could finish 6th.

If they finish 6th the pressure would be very much on Klopp and I think it would be difficult for them to hold onto Firmino and Mane who they would not be able to replace. Fingers crossed

Who would be after either of them? They haven't shown enough for any of the top European clubs and Liverpool are hardly going to sell Mané to us (for example).

I thought he wasn't suited to Klopp's pressing game.

An injury prone player, unsuited to the press and who can't get game time at a club who have finished below us six seasons out of the last seven (and likely seven seasons out of eight, after this one) - yeah, maybe he could step down a level and play for Spurs.

He's got West Ham written all over him
