Anyone possibly explain how Liverpool are 5/1 and we are 16/1
To win title next season, completely baffling.

As @Lilbaz alludes to above, the odds at the bookie aren't a true reflection of the probability of something happening, they're manipulated to ensure to bookie makes money regardless of the outcome.
If lots of Liverpool fans are putting money on them to win the league (which is likely because they're all deluded), the bookies offer longer odds on another team i.e. us in this case, to encourage more people to bet on them as well. That way if Liverpool do end up winning the league, the bookie has covered the cost of paying out all the Liverpool fans with the money they've made off the people who bet on Spurs, Chelsea, Utd etc. So in simple terms, if they're currently looking at having to pay out e.g. 1 million quid if Liverpool win the league, they need to make sure that they've had bets totaling at least 1 million quid on the other teams in the league, otherwise if Liverpool win then the bookie would make a huge loss on the title winner market.
Imagine just how many 10p bets that has taken!!!!Because more liverpool fans are putting money on them winning the league than spurs fans betting on spurs.
Tbh I don’t actually think it’s Liverpool supporters. A lot comes from the Asian markets who still think Dalglish is playing for them. Liverpool are always under priced on betfair have been for last 20 years.

FFS man that was the tip of the icebergRight. No more salad puns. That's Shallot.
That was unkind. A hint of xenophobia I smell there.Sorry in pub. Just want a perfect world where the prem has the best players in the world and we are the best team. Fuck the rest of europe.
Would asians use british bookies to make their bets when they have their own?
No but bookies don't just react to what is happening in their own outlets and websites. If William hill start taking money for a horse and cut their odds, expect Ladbokes to follow suit pretty quickly.
Only because they are in direct competition. The odds for a horse in a small bookies in viet nam would have little bearing on what ladbrokes odds are.
You don't really get bookies here. Most countries that have casinos don't even let locals in, only people with foreign passports. They do have small sports betting shops but it's more like doing the lottery or an accumulator.
If people want to gamble they have to do it online, so if they were betting on UK sports, they may end up going to a UK online betting site.
Yeah been here 12 years. All over SE Asia. There are small shops where you can do what they call sports betting but they're nothing like a bookies back home. You can get places where they have poker or card nights but even playing Majhong for money is illegal.I take it you live there so will know a lot more, i have only travelled through se asia (a few times) but i did find quite a few places where gambling was available. Some were probably illegal but quite open.
Papers have klopp’s agent talking up a move to Bayern Munich for him. The meltdown would be one to watch!
