I see they’ve been busy with the quill again telling Luton to reprimand their supporters for chanting (I didn’t hear anything when I was watching the game so no idea what they are complaining about now).
Another week, another letter, might be best if they just replay the game…..

Carragher mentioned during the game that there was chanting about Hillsborough. Can't really say I blame Liverpool for this one.

I didn't watch the game, but Carraghers immediate reaction to hearing "always the victims" was to label it Hillsborough related, as opposed to the more recent demand for a replay.

Unfortunately, even if the chants were aimed at the general mentality of Liverpool FC and their fans, it could cause unnecessary distress to the friends and relatives of the Hillsborough victims. It's possible that some of those chanting barely remember Hillsborough or Heysel, I was talking to the only Liverpool fan I currently know and happened to mention the Burnden Park disaster, he was ashamed to admit he knew nothing about it.

It’s a reasonable assumption to link that chant to Heysel/Hillsborough. It’s been sung for years and years in relation to those events.

That there may be a more modern context is kind of irrelevant.

No doubt in my mind the chants were actually referrring to them being victims on the pitch.

However, that phrase does have relation to Hillsbrough, the majority of people chanting probably don't realise that.

I'd suggest that Liverpool players need reminding that the object of this game is to control the ball with feet and not hands but nah.

It's clearly a growing international conspiracy against them really at play here.

Watching that makes me wonder how the fuck that goal against us was allowed the other week because it was way more than a handball than that.

It's the massive inconsistency that's the biggest issue with VAR. The same incidents get different results on a weekly basis and it's got to be sorted out.

That being said, tonight... Hahahaha 🤣
