Must suck ass to have your best players and managers leave every season. But Koeman to Everton tops the lot. What a nasty kick in the sponge.:p

Has he really gone? A sideways step at best, even if Everton have just had a cash influx. I don't get Koeman's logic there unless something or someone is, intentionally or not, driving him away from the club.

I don't laugh at Southampton, I feel sorry for them more than anything, even if they have an irrational dislike of us. They're getting their squad ripped apart more often than we ever were.

He must be aware that he's about to lose his best players and justifiably thinks he could get somewhere with a team of Lukaku, Barkley and Stones (in the unlikely event that Lukaku stays).

He's a complete fool if he leaves S'ton for Everton, considering what he's built/building there.

New owners at Everton, £100M to spend. Not an awful lot more he can do at SCBC, in the knowledge their best players will always end up leaving.

His first job is keeping hold of those 3 in the summer.

It was reported on saintsweb a couple of weeks ago by one of their itk, that 5 of their players had told Southampton that they wanted to leave. The players were Wanyama, Mane, Pelle, Tadic and Juanmi.

they've never won anything yet can't seem to come to terms with their place in the food chain, which has always been well below Everton. I don't tend to like these laughing threads, mainly because we find a way to get laughed at more than most, but I do like laughing at scbc fans who can fkin go marching off into the Channel for all I care.

I think it's in poor taste to laugh at Southampton as quite respect how they've been consistently good last couple of seasons after losing important players during the two summers.

Considering how soft Spurs have been over the years Saints have shown real balls how they've managed to not be kept down by other teams pinching their top players (and in our case their manager).

And everton are a much bigger club than Southampton and have a bigger ceiling at goodison too. The 6m is supposed to be getting at everton will have something to do with it also.

But with a new stadium that is being planned and big investment in the squad that is bound to happen I don't blame koeman for wanting to leave. The only reason I can see for him staying is to have another good season at scbc and wait for someone like woolwich to come in for him for the 17/18 season.

Southampton have been absolutely class the last few seasons. Sure, they sell players, that comes with the territory for a club their size. But they rebuild and do it well. Far from laughing at them, I applaud them.

Got a soft spot for them dating back to the 80's and think they've done really well the last couple of seasons.
I'd hate to see Koeman leave them but then as has been mentioned we aren't privy to their internal goings on.
If I had a choice of living on the Wirrall or in Sandbanks I know where my tent would be firmly pitched though...

Not really funny, but also don't care what they're going through, fuck em.

Happened to us and there wasn't too much sympathy, press and media had a good laugh at us for years having our key players and staff being ripped from us whenever we looked half decent

Still love AVB. Dont care what anyone says. Good manager. Love the guy. Hope he does well where ever he goes. Got the short end of the stick here because of that fucking 2 faced snake **** joke of a "manager" dim dim.

Southampton are a small time club who returned to the Premier League from League 1 and believe after a couple of good seasons they are entitled to a top 8 finish.

It's a good job they're a reasonably well run club, otherwise it'd be easy to see them slipping back down to the Championship in a couple of years.

I hate them.

Pretty sure AVB said he was sick of the EPL and would not be returning.

I'd be sick of the premier league to after bejng screwed over at his previous 2 clubs. But with saints, there the ones who have been screwed over in the past few years so maybe it might worked out.
