With Chelsea winning tonight they're now ten points clear. Even if we'd beaten west ham and won all of our remaining games they'd still have won the title. Yep. I'm actually glad Chelsea won those games as it means we were only ever outsiders. It's not as if they lost to Everton and we blew the chance to catch up.

Sounds like its because of the HMRC investigations. They really keep giving don't they!

But The Times has reported that they will now announce they have pulled out of the deal following the Hammers being caught up in the investigation over tax irregularities in football.

West Ham and Newcastle were both raided by HMRC officers last month as they looked into allegations of tax evasion surrounding deals involving players from France.

And that has been enough to frighten Vodafone from having their name associated with the Hammers – even though at this stage there is no evidence of wrongdoing by the Premier League club.

The company are anxious to avoid any negative publicity over their sports sponsorship deals following the terrorist attack on the Vodafone Arena in Istanbul.

They're entitled to 40% of anything over 4m a year. This was a proposed 6 year deal worth 3.33m a year.

Ive been thinking about this and I'm convinced we could crowd-fund the fucker.
