The gap between the upper and lower tier is going to look awful. Also It looks so open that come winter it is going to be freezing on the concourse.

One of the comments - "It's amazing how West Ham it feels already"
What, two bob? A bit shit? Thinks it's better than it really is?

Everything under and around the stadium is dogshit, but the inside is an impressive arena.

He didn't show where the caravan pitches are though.

Is it though? It's a cavernous stadium with the roofing supports and floodlights overwhelming everything else visually. That doesn't even begin to touch the gaps between swathes of seats and the blandness of the seating arrangement for everything else. I suppose if you only look at their main stand you could be mistaken for thinking it;s impressive but as a whole, it's just meh.

He mentions in the video that the east stand is going to be moved forwards, but I'm sure it already has been. Unless I'm mistaken? The gaps have been filled by seats, and the stand is physically further forward compared to the rest.
No It does seem to have been moved forward already. A few comments highlight that too. Looks gash

Lol switch it off it's dreadful! Poor bloke in some ways. Wanders round...'Ta da! An athletics stadium..."
And those executive boxes/suites look terrible!

I honestly can't believe a premier league club in London are going to have a stadium as bad as that. Their fans have been sold down the river.

Operation backtrack in full swing

They really are the gift that keeps on giving.

''The hard work continues behind the scenes as we look to bring more new players into the squad.

Our search for a new forward has been well documented and we have been working hard to negotiate moves for some big name strikers.

Ideally we would have had someone in place by now but sadly that has not proved to be the case and the forwards we have targeted want to play Champions League football.

Whatever deal we offer to that player, if he wants Champions League football he will not come to us.

We have still got some fantastic strikers at the Club and we were the fourth highest scorers in the Premier League last season.

In a perfect world I would like to think we will bring in a top class striker before the transfer window closes at the end of August, but if that doesn’t happen I have every confidence in our current strikers to continue doing the business''

Fucking hell everything about that club is just so utterly cringeworthy. Embarrassing.

Jack Sullivan‏@jsullivanwhu
We have agreed a fee with AC Milan on Bacca and he has said, he will tell us in the next 48 hours if he is coming!!

So Jack Sullivan is getting excited again that West Ham are finally going to make their much fabled striker signing.

However, the denizens of KUMB have had their fingers burned one time too many by young Master Sullivan's tweets, with one poster describing them, in perhaps the most intelligent three words I've ever seen a West Ham fan write, as

"Premature Jack elation"

We very much used to. Although without all the public bravado. Similar scatter gun approach, trying to punch beyond our means.

Yeah that's what I meant though. The bravado, announcing approaches for players on Twitter, the owners releasing statements about failed transfers. Just airing everything in public. It's so cheap and classless. No idea why they do it. Are they just trying to attract attention or something?

They think they are a bigger club than they actually are, and because no one else thinks so they feel the need to convince them IMO. For the select few posters on here that repeatedly post players are only interested in whoever will give them the most money, please take note of this. West Ham are offering fortunes to players, far more than they are getting elsewhere and they are being point blank dismissed by the players. The vast majority of players want to win stuff abd play on the CL first and foremost. Big money is purely a byproduct of playing for the clubs that achieve that.

Apparently they won't be opening the lower tier for their Europa League qualifier as they aren't sure if they can have the seating setup in time.

Is that their first ever game there?

Nice way to start if so!

Money is still the biggest draw. West Ham's problem is that unlike Man City of a few years ago, they don't have enough of it to make up for what a shit club they are.
