Having been to Liverpool away games for years from the early 70’s and generally got nothing from the refs....I am rather enjoying all this. Feels like a win. At least we turned up yesterday !

Only 2 out of 6 Pool fans I met today working thought the penalties were the correct decision, never mind the fact VAR would have proven both the correct call.

Talking about Haradona 'diving' when Stevie G. dived in Istanbul and Can lied his head off to the officials

Cocks.

Even after I showed the one lad who is usually pretty reasonable the linesman’s angle where it clearly shows VVD kicking Lamela and pointing out the article written by Graham Poll about how Kane was onside he refused to believe it. Instead he pointed to articles from various ex professionals and also an obscure angle of the Lamela penalty to prove his point. No point discussing these things with other fans when it’s gone against them, especially Liverpool idiots.

Phil Babb on ssn making himself look a right twat.

According to him, it shouldn’t have been a penalty because Lamela was facing away from the goal so it wasn’t a goal scoring opportunity and a penalty would give them a goal scoring opportunity therefore it’s unfair. He genuinely said that. And then when asked if it would be a free kick anywhere else on the pitch, he said ‘yeah it would be but I still don’t agree with it’

Such. A. Cock.

He hasn't even got a cock mate. He lost his nutsack in the 90's against Chelsea sliding into the post

Their fans are prone to conspiracy theories, so there'll be some stories about various gaps, but none about the giant gap between VVD's ears. The best bit about yesterday was Lamela calling for the stretcher and then jumping on top of Kane when he scored!

Apparently Harry has said this in response to van dijk but they might just be recycling comments:

He (Karius) has dived, he got in the way and I’m a player, I’m not going to jump out of the way because it’s football,” said Kane.

“I definitely felt contact and I went down.”

Surely it's turning into the dead sea with all the saltiness from them though?
No, the stuff floating is the shit coming from their ex-players. I'm waiting for some of them to set fire to themselves outside our new stadium, which will be closer to where they live than Klanfield.
You know what would be great? Firminho gets done for racism.

I'm sure it's been said but the lino celebrating that Moss agrees with his decision at the end is amazing. It's boiled so much piss over here in Ireland with Liverpool fans.

I've had people at me all day about the penalty decisions and all I've replied with is that they'd be asking for a penalty if it was the other end and they shut up.

Even one of my best mates who knows zero about football chimed in. Actually said Karius on Kane is a penalty but Van Dijk on Lamela isn't. Both were stonewall. I don't care what anyone says. I'm actually sad I'm on the way home from work because today has been one of the most enjoyable ever.

It’s a shame all the penalty talk has distracted from how completely dominant we were in 2nd half. We just looked so much stronger physically than both united and Liverpool. Hopefully that trend continues for NLD.

I get you, but I also don't mind our performance going completely under the radar. People thinking we were lucky rather than dominant, and Liverpool thinking they were robbed rather than poor second half is no bad thing for us.

You're sad because of what a few muggy muggles think? Don't take it so seriously. Who cares who they think? It's actually when something like this goes our way for change that it's more enjoyable :D

Just remembered that sneaky fucker Salah waving his imaginary card, trying to get our players booked.
That really grips my shit.

Dele was passing to Lamela not Kane. (So he's not in the that passage of play and not offside)
Wineldum deflected the ball past Lamela and Lovern miskicked it to Kane. (Now Kane becomes active and onside)
Van Dyke trying to clear the ball but missing and kicking a player instead is a foul.
In the penalty area that means a penalty.
In real time in the game I can see why the ref didn't see the Lamela penalty ( I didnt) kudos to the lino and a great call.
AND YOU CANNOT BE OFFSIDE FROM A THROW IN, SO LAMELAS TOE IS NOT OFFSIDE.
