Son had better pull his weight when Pool have the ball. Shame we've had to move away from the 3-4-3. It was sexual.
This is the problem imo; I just can't see it. That gap between Son and Davies will get raped and Davies too exposed. Also, on turnarounds son doesn't usually recover quickly and pool will be eager on the counter today.

Not a ball kicked in anger and the result determined.

Not determined, we are already up against it anyway, have a bad record against them, they are a wounded animal at the moment, they see us as direct competition and will be well up for this game and they have players that can punish that particular formation with the way they press.

It just seems like, we are already up against it and playing this formation makes it even harder, not saying it's impossible, just unlikely we will win today.

4231 means we are not going to win it !! :\
That was always going to be the team, Son was not going to get dropped after his performance last week.

It's a question of whether we will sit back and restrict space or whether we will open up and play into their hands.

My only concern is the few times we've played Pool since the arrival of Klopp he had his tactics fairly spot on to either frustrate us with draws or nick the win. Hopefully Poch can out think him today

Against any of the top six away from home i'd take a point.

We all would.

Poch has used this system at home and away and without Jan and Rose is was bloody obvious he would set the side out like this.

Just like we didn't all last season.
I think we miss Lamela in a big way when playing 4-2-3-1. His energy and movement across the 3 makes a real difference. Son struggles to create like him meaning most of the responsibility falls to Eriksen

We can't play the 3-4-3 reliably without jan as shown by the city game. Not really sure what poch was meant to do

I really hope Poch can prove me wrong again, I would have thought going with a back five would have been better. Mane must be licking his lips
