Whatever happens, I really don't want to watch that stupid dance that Sturridge does when he scores :banghead: :p

I think this one has been marked down as a season shifter for us internally, so I expect us to go at them and get the right result, just like Chelsea at home. They've been a mess lately, but I don't expect them to sit back and frustrate. I think everyone recognized the lost opportunity at Sunderland, so I'm hoping we gain control early on here and compound Liverpool's worries, with Eriksen being the star man.

Perry Groves on talk sport this morning saying that Liverpool can't just turn this round, they may put a shift in but it ain't that simple, they used to press as one unit now because their confidence is low their defence drops a little bit deep leaving space in front of them which the likes of Deli will capitalize on.
I hope he is right.

City discovered how to work their bollocks off and press like demons for their game against us recently - two characteristics that have been largely completely absent from them this season.

And they are better than Liverpool and still couldn't beat us so all positive stuff.

Difficult one to try and call. They're going to come absolutely flying out of the blocks, I expect them to have all the early pressure, and just hope we frustrate them in this time. Our chances will come though, and I wouldn't be too upset if we had a couple of testers from distance to try out Mignolet.

Sitting on the fence but I'm saying 1-1. We'll score first and then they'll equalise. Klopp will be his usual annoyingly over-animated self, and the last half hour will be nervy and frantic with both teams believing they can win it.

I'm making the ultimate sacrifice; tape the game and watch it later. Whenever I follow a game online we do well, whenever I watch it on the telly we struggle: if we win all you shitters owe me a winner rating

Pessimistic post :cant see us winning this one.. whenever a side needed a rejuvenating result over the years, we usually oblige.

No Jan, no Danny rose... our defense is not as reliable as it can be- up top 1 goal( a pen) in the last 2 games vs sunderland and boro .

hope im wrong

I think you might as well turn over and watch the rugby mate with your kind of pessimism

It's an interesting one.

We're usually pretty tough to break down (the City game was a bit of an anomaly due to uncharacteristic errors from Hugo), but generally the stronger teams we play tend to have decent defenders.

Liverpool will play open, attacking football, but that will expose their average back four. We'll certainly have scoring opportunities.

Personally, I think it will be a draw, I think Liverpool might nick it though, they will be looking to respond and they always play well against the top teams, they will probably have their game of the season against us and given our injuries and our away record against them if we do manage to win this it will be a massive statement on behalf of us and will effectively end any chance of Liverpool winning the title and also will likely put them in a real negative spiral which will result in them finishing outside of the top four.

Please Spurs, please beat them.

I'm trying, but I don't see this one going well. Think we'll lose; just hope we compete properly.
I agree as well as I anticipate a red card and / or a penalty as well. The ref will be Anthony Taylor who I know sod all about
