I see you've been spammed by tottenham terry too for no good reason lol

Selling Chadli would be daft as he's extremely versatile and unlike Andros and Lennon, he can cross the ball and hit the target more consistently.
To be honest I took it as a compliment.

If you get a Spam rating from Terry he basically respects you but doesn't like to admit it.

Everyday is a battle for him.

Remember this abomination?

Although I didn't agree with the look of this exact team, I still find it amusing how some people label Van Gaal a genius for the 3-5-2 formation (Chiles mentioned it in World Cup to Martin O'Neill's anger), yet Hodd gets treated like a dinosaur for suggesting it months before.

Would loved to have seen Hoddle get the caretaker role instead of Sherwood and although I'm sure many will hit me with a "Disagree", I find it mystifying that the man has been without a coaching role for 8 (Vidiprinter EIGHT) years!

Apparently the reason Harry got Hoddle in was he wants to play 352 next season, so Townsend there seems totally implausible now. Where would he fit in that system?
Rather than what @Snarfalicious suggested, Harry used Andros at full-back a fair bit in the Europa League. Maybe he thinks he could be a wing-back?

I really think Remy would be a good move.

We seriously struggled to take enough of our chances last season and we can't risk that happening again. If Soldado continues to struggle and Adebayor is patchy this would be a fantastic option to play up front if needs be. Obviously he can operate from the left side spot and still carry a real threat if one of the other two is firing and playing well.

Remy is pretty clinical, versatile, gettable and cheap (loan even)

Also, if we go after rodriguez in January, it will take the pressure off to perform straight after injury until next season

Put Erikson in at no 10, and Ade in alongside Soldado and it looks quite srong. Would have lasted longer than 14 seconds at least.

I always thought Hoddle's shortcomings as a coach were more down to his attitude rather than his tactical nous.

I still feel the man has a lot to offer as a coach and I feel his man management may have approved since his academy setup. When he was at spurs I don't think we had the resources we have now.. Say what you will about enic, we have improved in certain areas. 98 World Cup for me was sadly the best I've seen England play since venables ..and tactically always felt he was strong.

Speaking impartially as an Ireland supporter, I don't think there has been an England side that comes anywhere close to that of the '98 squad which Glenn left behind. I think it's criminal that his ideas have been missing from the game for so long, I really do.

Just noticed on reflection that I sound like Andy Townsend........Worrying.

If you just watch Remy on MOTD you might possibly think that. But he really isn't. He's not the worst finisher ever either, but he really isn't clinical. He's never scored more than 15 in a season, even in France.

If you are committed to playing a high pressing game, then Wellbeck is one of the best around at pressuring defenders. Just needs to improve his finishing.

I'm in the minority that would prefer Lennon leaving than Townsend. Still feel a proper coach can improve Townsend, can't say the same for Lennon

I was under the impression he was a good finisher. Not going to pretend I've watched him really closely numerous times, but that was my impression.
