Gio was taken off at half time today, I was at the game and he didn't impress much in the first half, but I thought subbing him was a bit strange. Didn't look injured or anything, just didn't do much good apart from the corner for the equaliser.

Nope community shield 2.30 Sunday. Olympics 3 I think on Saturday.

Brazil were good to watch. Oscar looked good, good passing range and kept the ball well. Leandro took his goals well, but nothing amazing really. Sandro looked tidy but didn't do much, would like to see him create more. Brazil's U23 squad is unbelievable, GB should be embarrassed. Hulk and Pato as 2nd half subs...WTF!

Mark Clattenburg gets the gold medal game. Probably doesn't deserve it but it was always going to go to a European ref.

Kinda feel for the American Mark Geiger. Probably was the best referee this tournament but once Mexico got to the final he was out.
