Fair enough. He looks a bit average wherever he plays tbh. Think with some work he could be a versatile member of the squad though. He's got some talent and with the right coaching, I think he will improve. I'm not one of the "Rose is utter toilet" brigade.

Last season at LB he was average but he also didn't play for a year, so i would give the benefit of the doubt to him but his best stand out games have been at LB. The second half for team GB in the last was what he could do imo

Indeed, good point. In and out can't have helped him develope any comfort zone either. Missed the second half of the warmup game. I'm assuming this GB side is more like the side that finished that game as opposed to the footballing abortion that started it.

It's quite nice in fact - at least I'm finding it so. It's Olympic footy, bit different. Nice summer evening, a family event etc. Gives it a unique atmosphere.

Unfortunately that's beyond the BBC's control. The Beeb doesn't have control over footage of Olympic events in the same way they didn't have control over the footage from Euro 2012.
