We already have Kulusevski, one is sufficient.

Yeah we need someone that can bring a bit of playmaking a creativity if Deki is out. That's where he made such a difference over Lucas and Bergwijn.

I'm happy with the potential signing of Richarlison but he doesn't bring that. An 8/10 type makes perfect sense now. Wouldn't have been required had we went for Raphinha.

I kind of see this happening as well. Tie up the 3/4 Bremer hopefully as well. Then clear out Bergwijn, Lo Celso, Tanguy, Regi, Emerson, Winky and Rodon. Probably listen to offers for Gil, Sanchez and Lucas.
Then take stock and decide on anything else depending on who we shift. I still think we are severely lacking creativity like a Paqueta and if Lucas went and upgrade on him.
Looking at that list we have a lot of players to shift.
...and dont forget Papa Sarr. Not sure where he fits, keep or sell.

Yeah, that's why I'm saying we need 1 more in Paqueta or someone similar but not 2 like the other poster said.

I still think it’s no coincidence that Ally Gold keeps mentioning him and Maddison in all of his articles… just have a feeling we are looking for the flair + creativity player who could cover AM and wings

I really really want this guy. Pure flair, pure joy.
I think so do we all. My (totally uninformed hunch) is as follows:
- priority 1: we get Richarlison in
- priority 2 and 3: a defender and Spence
- priority 4: another defender

….if we can get the right players in above, at the right price, AND sell those we need to and consequently have some cash left over…

…then I think Fab ad AC would ideally like to add someone in CM/AM who could add a bit of flair and creativity.

In that scenario, I think we’d be looking at someone like him (possibly Eriksen, though looks like it’s gone a bit cold), or at least I hope we would.

Lots of wood to chop and quite and few IFs ahead of it though

RWB, LCB, CM and CF were the key areas identified. Spence, Lenglet, Bissouma and Richarlison (hopefully) does improve where we were end of the season. Add in solid HG backup keeper in Forster, and a Swiss Army knife in Perisic. Add another CB if/when Rodon goes out, plus some additional AM-WF creativity to replace is the last piece of the puzzle. Probably be the last bit of business. I’d like Paqueta, but I think it’ll be Zainolo on loan based on the comment about us still looking to do more business in Italy, plus wasn’t Paratici in Rome recently, and there was some media stories around Zainolo coming on loan to prove his Fitness.

If he was on loan, with no obligation, that wouldn't be the worst move

Would love this if we're not getting Eriksen. Position wise he's perfect as he can play as the advanced player in a three or as a left-footer on the right to challenge Kulusevski, with Richarlison being competition for Son and Kane the other side.

Incredibly technical (which we need) but aggressive in the press, good in transition, and still only 24. Would really balance out our options in attack.

Would prefer him over Eriksen tbh, I know that’s probably a little crazy but he’s more versatile and he has a really high ceiling imo. Could be one of the best playmakers out there in a few years.

For me it depends what our priorities are/how much money we've got. If signing Eriksen sorts the position for the short term and allows us to go big on another CB after Lenglet or maybe a better RWB than Spence then I'm all for it, if it's a straight choice then Paqueta is maybe a slightly better fit and much younger.

The thing for me that also works in his favour over Eriksen is his work rate, he’s such a hard worker which isn’t really a strong part of Eriksen’s game. I agree that money is the big factor but if we can afford him he should be top of the list imo over someone like Szoboszlai who has also been mentioned.

Have a feeling he is gonna go to Newcastle ?
They do seem to be interested, but I’d hope that if we put in an offer then he would come here over them. Aside from Conte, CL, stadium etc, having Richarlison here who he will likely be playing with in the WC will be a pull as well.

I agree he would pick us over them. Just think that, we are interested but not that interested. Yet…hopefully.
