Can you explain to me why Zaniolo isn’t creative? I think he shows creativity from what I’ve seen. Maybe not in the same way as an Eriksen, but he still shows creativity for me!
Just don’t think the instinctive vision is there. Of course he can see and execute creative actions and difficult passes, but for me he plays with his head down quite a bit, and he needs time to settle on the ball before picking a pass, shot, etc. not the one touch creativity or the quick release.

Once you have an ACL reconstruction, your knee is a lot stronger, as they take muscle from your hamstring and create a new ligament. I’m still playing at 40 and ruptured mine 15 years ago. After 2 failed Ops to tidy it up, a full reconstruction was done 6 years back and feels loads better (touch wood) since. Is still a risk though and rather we passed on him.

Wo-ah~
What are we waiting for?
I propose mandatory ACL rupture on both knees for everyone in our academy when they hit age 18.

Kidding aside, he can still get tore again, but maybe less likely?

I believe professional players use a graft from the tendon at the front of the knee as opposed to the hamstring to prevent further risk of injury and impact to performance from having weaker hamstrings.

I agree though I had mine done several years ago and feels stronger than my other knee now. Got me back playing again after 12 months.

This - I was not a "professional" in this sense, but played at a high level. They pretty much made me do a patellar tendon graft which is on top of your knee cap. Knock on wood, but have not had issues since. I know they don't like to do anything to weaken hamstrings if they don't have to.

I say we should break all our u18 players legs and extend them

we would have an academy of super tall intimidating monsters

First real ITK we’ve had on him it feels. Good to hear he’s still an option. Still my top pick but I have come round a lot to Zaniolo. Would be happy with ether.

I don't know if some disgruntled Arsenal fan has been on Wikipedia and changed his current club status because he snubbed them but he's apparently playing in Scotland.

I do wonder if City would go for him if they sell Bernardo.
This is fresh news from German Kicker. (And L'Equipe)

Lyon playmaker Lucas Paqueta (24) is said to be the focus of several big clubs, but it hasn't really become concrete at any point this summer. Now "L'Equipe" reports that Manchester City is interested in the Brazilian should Bernardo Silva leave the Skyblues. Lyon should therefore be ready to give up Paqueta, but probably expect a handsome transfer fee. Tottenham Hotspur could also be a possible target for Paqueta.

I read the same story on The Sun on news feed quoting L'Equipe that he's not keen on Arsenal or Newcastle, Its between City and ourselves

I’ve posted a lot on my knowledge of Zaniolo but I don’t watch much of the French League, I’ve seen snippets and he looks like a good player but from someone who knows Paqueta more in depth, how does his style and position compare to Zaniolo and Maddison?

Seems most of the stories atm are originating from the same L’Equipe article. I don’t actually see Bernardo leaving at this point, especially not for €80 mil Which is his price tag, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Paqueta replace him if he went.

A real shame it's not Bernardo Silva we are targeting who is a preference to any of Zaniolo, Paqueta and Maddison but understandably it would appear he wants a move abroad (Barcelona).

Silva only leaves City to go to Spain IMO
