Could have/should have been more, but a comfortable away win without having to get in to top gear and no injuries will do.

Would have liked to have seen the squad players do more, but must be difficult without having a run of matches to find form

anyone writing Vinicius off already needs a virtual slap. He's a striker, getting opportunities few and far between, competing against one of the best forwards in the world. He needs a goal and a few more minutes under his belt to gain confidence.

It’s blatantly obvious that everyone in the team wants Vinicius to get off the mark. Problem is, the longer it takes, the more he looks like another Soldado style purchase

I thought the same, but still way too early to compare him to Soldado, still very early days.

A goal for a striker can make all the difference. Bit of a random comparison but look at Che Adams for Southampton for instance, couldn't score for shit for a long time, got one goal and more just followed consecutively. Need to give him time.

Nothing came off for vini, though it wasn’t for the lack of trying. Stevie likewise looked like he had a point to prove, and I thought a lot actually came off for him. Unlucky not to score. It’s the case of the chicken and the egg. What comes first? Is it lack of confidence and form that leads to a player dropping down the pecking order, or does the lack of playing time perpetuate the lack of form and confidence. Probs a bit of both, but it’s tough playing 45 minutes a week against nothing teams in Bulgaria. I’m glad they looked motivated, there’s no doubting their ability, especially Stevie.

A game like this, with the players we have, we should win 5-0
5-0 or 3-1 at the end of the day you still come away with 3 points.
Our goals difference is 2 more than Antwerp but is irrelevant as GD doesn’t exist in this competition anyway

Saints fans are honestly the saltiest set of fans ever when it comes to their players wanting to leave. Hojbjerg is rubbish on the ball and can’t pass? Fucking idiots. Unbelievable player.

Back to a thankfully comfortable win against farmers league opposition, but yet again mentality and possibly fitness in the second half of the game was a bit disappointing I thought. Should have ran up close to double figures there really and their goal, plus another handful of sighters, came from us just going through the motions. You can say no harm done, it was an easy game, we were never in real trouble, but as we have seen we take these bad habits into league matches and get nasty surprises...

I felt after our 3rd goal we fell apart and became very sloppy, JM won't like that.

Good result, onwards.
