And I think Paratici is for the most part doing that. Sarr and Gil were vintage Leicester/Dortmund type signings. Even Romero, as expensive as he was, was unproven at a top team and still one step below the big boys.
I think he is trying to do this, but also don’t think you blame him for having a swing at a potential star if he was available.
Not sure about that.
Sarr is one for the future (out on loan) and Gil is kind of a squad player/kind of one for the future (may go out on loan).
I think most people think a 'Leicester or Dortmund type signing' is 100% for the first team or squad.
Romero is one of these signings though.
